Thanks for reacting to V. Most people say that it means you die whether you're with someone or not so best to love yourself. I think V intentionally made the MV so we all go "Wait...what?!??" To me, the last smirk at the end says "Analyze that!" There can be so many interpretations. The song is a whole vibe and his vocals are superb! Borahae, Kim Taehyung!

bts songs are usually not literal...what happens on the video can be a whole story on itself, it's not a spoonfed explanation of the song...that's why bts army - the fans love them you sometimes need to use your grey cells...

You don’t actually have to look up the lyrics. You just have to turn on the closed captions. Big Hit always does a really great job with their translations but this song is completely in English so the subtitles are literally word for word.
