Elden Ring is a 2022 action role-playing game that was developed by FromSoftware, published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, and directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki with worldbuilding provided by fantasy writer George R. R. Martin. It was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 25. Players control a customizable player character who is on a quest to repair the Elden Ring and become the new Elden Lord.

With Ranni not saying anything to Blaidd besides the i love you message- i really think that of all things she couldnt bring herself to cut her ties to iji and blaidd herself. The order made Blaidd for her and in a way he is her last tie to them- she cast away even her own body but Blaidd she couldnt bring herself to do so. Even if it is a bit cold, locking him away was easier than cutting him away herself. If anything giving ranni blaidd was, perhaps unwittingly, the orders strongest move to preventing rannis age from coming about. But they didnt account for the tarnished loyalty, or blaidds will power himself. The relationship between ranni and blaidd is so poetically tragic

The potion Seluvis gives you for Nepheli can also be given to the Dung Eater . Although you'd have to do his invasion & go back to his cell underground before you give Ranni the Fingerslayer Blade . Having Dung Eater as a summon is dope!

I did get it my first playthrough but I gave it to Sir Gideon because I wanted to finish Nepheli's quest which actually had a happy ending!!!

First chunk of Seluvis' quest rewards magic scorpion talisman, big damage talisman for any sorcerer build. Second part he makes potion to make Ranni into a puppet, but bro forgot Ranni's body is already a puppet and can be affected. If you go through with offering Ranni his improved potion Ranni forces her quest to be undoable and if you pester her to talk three times, she kills you without moving a finger. Seluvis dies when you hand over Fingerslayer blade to Ranni. So if you want that Magic Scorpion talisman you have to do that part of the quest before handing Ranni Fingerslayer Blade. Also Redmane Castle get repopulated after Radahn fight if you talk to Jerrin and he tells you that he goes to settle the score with certain witch (Sellen in her questline), so you can fight Misbegotten+Crucible knight boss much later on for its reward if you dont want to do that fight with underleveled character.

7:26 " I hate him", " Of course you have" Perfect timing 🤣🤣. 27:55 In my playthrough, i did all the quests that can have different ending, after defeating the Elden Beast, when you go near Marika statue, there are Rune/Mark near her which is you can choose what ending you want (if you do multiple ending quest , there will be multiple rune/mark near her except frenzied flame, frenzied flame overwrite all ending even you do all the quest). But this is long time ago. It's been awhile since I've played the Elding Ring, maybe there is a change. Great reaction as always , keep em coming❤

One of my greatest gaming achievements wss killing Radahn before his first nerf, with lvl 28, and a slow 4+ two handed weapon. I had to literally no hit the bloke in my first playthrough. It took me hours, and probably years of my life in the end. I rather fight Malenia with fists only and no estus flasks, than pre-nerf Radahn.

@miceatah9359 you have no idea what you're talking about. Malenia you meet with LVL 100+ in most cases, max flasks and max flasks level + good spirit summons and somewhat of a build. You also have played the game for at least 50 hours. Radahn, you could run into before even LVL 30-40 with barely any resources,scaling or game experience. While in numbers only Malenia is harder ( mostly because Of her dumb and cheesy self healing ), the conditions you have for radahn are by far worse. It's not just about the boss but also how and when the player gets there.

Ranni's ending is actually the most hopeful ending for the Lands Between. Dungeater's is the shit ending literally. Goldmask's is about bettering the order, but still screws over everyone outside of it. Duskborn is selfish towards "those who live in death". Fracture keeps broken order as is. Frenzied Flame is just nuking the life out of the Lands Between. It's bad ending. Age of Stars is the only non selfish ending that puts the world as close to as it was before Greater Will ran amuck. It's sad and depressing for individual characters, but for Lands Between as a whole it's by far the best ending.

The dung eaters ending isn't as bad as you may think. Because in his ending everyone is now the same. There can be no "cursed" beings like the omen, if all are cursed. Same with the frenzied flame ending. Yeah you burn everything down, but as corrupt as the greater will and the golden order is, you start questioning if burning down everything might not be so bad after all.

​@@azizella2778The Blessing of Despair ending can be thought of a revenge against the overwhelming cruelty of the Golden Order, an attempt to equalize people, melt away all distinctions. But the Frenzied Flame ending is more like mass suicide. It takes the position that the cruelty almost every other ending is trying to remedy is essential to being alive. It says "there's nothing we can do about genocide, may as well throw ourselves off a bridge". I think the FF ending is far shittier than the BoD ending

1:12:33 Yes, that ending is absolutely depressing. But I wouldn't say that there is any good ending. I mean look at the other endings. Age of Fracture: You basically chance nothing and become the eldenlord of a fractured world. Age of Blessing Despair: You help a mass murderer spread his curse on the entire world. Lord of Frenzied Flame: You just go mad and destroy and kill everything. Age of Duskborn: Everything is finally allowed to die. Age of Order: You create a new golden order without gods. I mean one could argue that the two last endings are good endings since the natural order of life and death is now back in order or at least the gods who are responsible for the fractured world are now gone and banished. But i see it like this. In the Age of Duskborn Ending the gods could still terrorizing the world in search for more power. In the Age of Order, the golden order still stands just without gods this time. And death is still banished. Oh and in both endings, Marika is still trapped in the Earth Tree and is not allowed to die since the Eldenring is still inside her. So the Age of the Stars ending is the best ending in my opinion because the new order would be without gods or the order itself to guide the people so they would have to make their decisions to shape the world. And Marika would finally be free. Oh and as a nice bonus you also get yourself a wife.

The ending of the blessing of despair, it is also possible to question whether the ending is bad. However problematic the means may be, in the end, the curse is to allow people to be born and reborn with the appearance of the crucible, just like the omens repudiated by the Golden Order.

the problem with this video is the English translation of the game translates her motives and speeches badly. it's not convoluted, its because the English dialogue is simply wrong.

Considering a large portion of the original history was written in English I’m not sure it’s quite that simple. I would imagine there’s a lot of material thats been translated from English to japanese and then back again
