So to answer your question about whether that official trailer got made and then they canceled the movie, sometimes companies will literally spend money to make a professional trailer in the hopes of getting bigger investors/studios on board. I've never heard of "North Hollywood Films" so maybe they randomly were able to get the rights and then paid for a trailer to get more money. Then obviously nothing panned out. I worked on one of these kinds of trailers once and nothing happened for that one either lol
