Please please please more dies to removal! I listened to that on the bus to my A level exams. I listened to it to distract me when I had to have surgery and couldn't be put under. It was my single favorite podcast of all time and I still listen back through the whole playlist of it on TCC every year or so. Please start making it again 🥺

I temember watching that video not long after twin was banned cause i was curious what was up with it. Not that i was a big modern player at the time, but i enjoyed keeping up with other facets of the game. From what im reading, it looks like it was a MTGO bug (maybe accidentally inplemented the B&R early?) So they went ahead and announced it on Friday rather than Monday as scheduled. I didn't play modern at the time, but I can imagine the madness that would happen if all of a sudden people queued up for a league 2 days becore a ban announcement was due only for it to tell them a critical card in their deck wasn't legal

This is a blast from the past, back when I first got into modern with Red Green Tron, though admittedly a weaker version as I was but a child who couldn't get ahold of Karns so I was playing Myr Battlesphere. Yeah as a person who played jund/abzan the years prior to twin banning, twins ban was awful because it beat all of the awful decks you hated playing against like tron and living end. You were probably only slightly favored against them but you actually played magic at least.
