Perfumery is like a blend of art and food... my favorite paintings are not necessarily one's you like... my favorite dishes you may not like at all... I don't enjoy wearing earthy, dry oakmoss, vetiver heavy fragrances... there are others that don't enjoy boozy, dense vanilla, spicy woody fragrances... there is a ridiculous amount of nuance in this hobby and the art of blending perfumery... that's part of what makes it so intriguing

Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Homme has become one of my most fav Gucci fragrances next to Rush and Envy. GGAPH is a veeeeeeery heavy fragrance. The first time wearing it was on a snow hike in the mountains behind my home. It fit the setting perfectly and I fell in love with the scent. ''Different strokes for different folks'':)

Copeland, yes I purchased a decant of Cartier's Decoration d'Un Soir, but first let me apologize for messing your post that provided the content for this video. On your recommendation, this was my first rose note fragrance. In the beginning, I wasn't feeling it at all and it was probably due to at that time the road seem to be more prominent in a little piercing- but I stayed in there and continue to wear it. Personally, I get a Berry type of smell which to make is the rose a semi sweet but definitely green smell. I do not feel that it's a feminine scent but it will get you attention in a intriguing way. I'm also purchasing Reflection Man, and yes it will be a decant, so I would definitely give you my take on it once I receive it. Now, I'm not sure if I can put the blame on you for Timbuktu but I'm still trying to figure that fragrance out. I haven't given up on it yet, but I'm not quite feeling that fragrance.

I believe the Rosemary and Bitter orange leaf in Reflection man causes the herbal aromatic nuance that maybe on some people's skin becomes very sharp? it's not that sharp on my skin either and I would consider it more powdery than "sharp" but I could see if someone's skin may amplify those notes more than others.

Yea, decanted Reflection man, too sweet for me, it’s like marshmellows, it is round but leans too feminine. And I like unisex frags (for example I live Wulong cha even though people say that leans feminine) but I just associate that kind of sugary sweetness with the ladies. And I received a free sample of ganymede while I did appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of the blend. It was too much like a leather workshop. However I do like stuff like ombré leather, Tuscan leather, Etc. Ganymede reminds me of the actual machines

I have learned through my “fragrance journey” that there are some people that just don’t like or enjoy being negative about fragrance… Or “Cologne” as they tend to say.. Which I get, that’s how most Americans refer to mens fragrances as… I did as well. Anyway…. I have been around people that regardless of what you are wearing and the amount you have on, they will react negatively to it.. You get the cliché comments of, smells like - “an old lady” “a washed up whore” “an old man” “Cologne guy” etc… Or… They are the person that is overly sensitive to fragrance. Maybe it’s true and maybe they like to lay it on a little thick.. At one former place of work… There was a woman that herself wore fragrances.. But was on it the second she thought a man was wearing too much. It got to the point where she knew the few guys that wore fragrances and would comment at least 50% Of the time. Half the time I couldn’t even smell the person she was flapping her gums about.. I actually tried an experiment.. I literally used one spray of something, can’t recall now… and it was under my shirt. I asked a few people and no one could smell it. But magically she could… She “liked it.. but I put too much on” It was weird. Again, I think some people just like being negative about fragrances.

GANYMEDE is str8 up 🔥🔥, no doubt about it! I feel that you really have to appreciate the finer notes that make up an incredible fragrance such as Ganymede. It's not going to be for everyone but the best way I could describe it is someone who drinks some of the finer wines in life compared to someone who drinks $10 bottles of wine and even puts ice in the red wine such as a Cab or a Syrah or Shiraz. In other words it takes years of nose training and to do that you would need quite a collection. There's nothing out there like Ganymede, it's very unique which is why it makes it such a phenomenal fragrance. That's just my opinion but I do believe it'll grow on you if at first you don't like it. Just give it a chance and I think you're going to find small things that's ultimately going to make you fall in love with it in the end, just watch!! 🤷

Haha, loved this. Got a sample of Amouage Beach Hut and thought it was very realistic, especially the fish drying on a rack outside 🤮 More seriously I got a 100ml of Zaharoff Signature Rosè (OK I have learned my lesson now) and could not get past the base note of gastric acid. Vomit, in other words. A friend felt the same and I cannot believe KZbin reviewers haven’t sensed that. Hats off though to George who found out about it via KZbin and gave me a full return/refund. Brilliant customer service and brand care. Have since sent off for a full set of his decants. Also I am with your Ganymede sceptics too. Still left feeling there must be something wrong with my nose though!

Vomit? That is an absolute first for me. A lot of folks frequently herald it in the comments on my videos, and several that I've shown it too in person truly love it.
