All of those cages are so awesome! Some of them were so stuffed I bet that the rat owners can't even find their rats when they want to clean the cage lol. Also great idea about dropping the piece of paper to see if the cage is filled with enough fall-breakers, I hadn't ever heard that before. Your boys are so cute by the way!!!

Thank you for sharing my cage setup, I’m so glad you liked it. It’s still a work in progress. I took that photo while cleaning their cage, because I’m a dingus and I forgot to put a fresh hammock in before taking the photo. Their wheel is 12 inches but I’ll be getting them a 16 inch wheel ASAP And thank you for your advice on the bedding, I’ve given them a deeper base now but what substrate would you recommend to mix with the hemp? I’d love for them to be able to dig tunnels

What are the little joined together circles in a bunch of the cages ? The ones that look like sturdy soda rings

They are tie holders from IKEA but you can get similar ones from Amazon and other places 😊
