My confession: I used to be non religious and I became Buddhist because of Kpop, because I thought that idols like Lisa, Suho and Bambam( they are all buddhists) were goodpersons and very competent, on top of that they look very emotionally and mentally healthy. I am Mexican and I don't speak English very well, but I still love your videos because they are very entertaining My opinion: here in Latin America there are many jokes that NCT songs are sexual, example: make a wish = blow out the candle, and people get angry, but it is the reality, many NCT or WayV songs have double meaning and this is not wrong, it all depends on the mentality with which you look at it, what for me is wrong is that they sexualize the boys and that they ONLY make sexual jokes regarding the NCT songs and that they DO NOT GIVE THEM the merit or RECOGNITION they deserve

Im not black. Im from Greece and when BTS made "Dionysus" which was a track based on an ancient greek God they made a MAMA( perfomance which was "ancient greece " inspired BUT they literally used elements that didn't even exist in ancient greece . The lyrics, stage and overall meaning of the song had some serious erros about greek culture. So yes of course I didn't take it as "cultural appretiation" but as appropriation when they clearly used my culture for aesthetics without even doing proper research smh. In conclusion whenever black/middle east CA happens in kpop(because these 2 are the most often) as a person who doesn't belong to either of these cultures I don't take a stand. I completely respect any fan that is hurt by these things and I believe all of us should be like this.

@@hobi1535 It is now considered mythology cause after jesus existed greeks slowly turn to christianity but dionysus was part of the 12 Gods which was in fact the religion of ancient greeks for a lot of centuries. The fact that this religion didn't last through the passing of time doesn't disregard the fact that it was a big part of greek culture that shaped who we became as a nation . Ancient greeks lived their whole lives dedicated in worshipping Gods like dionysus. So even if it is now considered mythology its still part of our history . When someone of an other culture uses it without even doing research it really pisses us off and disrespects our culture. It has happened too many times from Hollywood as well (The 300, Persy Jackson etc).
