Fun fact: Whenever shots seem to come from nowhere, they actually originate from the player's spawn. That's also what happens when you see random lines of ink on-screen. They're usually tap shots from chargers that packet-dropped. Even if the charger hasn't DC'd that happens.

Idk if this is how Splatoon works, but in most games things like doing damage are considered higher priority to sync than movement. So in really laggy situations, people might appear to be shooting where they aren't present yet.

5:50 you can actually do that intentionally to a tent's shield, by throwing it at the very top of the shield the succ bombs very janky spherical hitbox can hit the tent player hiding behind or in front of the tent. It isn't that hard to do with a little practice and it infuriates the tent player
