I never knew this even existed. I loved this early Nightwish sound! Thanks for meeting up!

Oh! I was just reminiscing about the Nightwish show I went to on Boxing Day of 2004, almost exactly 20 years ago. I'm so lucky I caught this one live too before they switched to High Hopes later on that tour.

Fun is exactly the right word. I had seen videos of this performance before but they were pretty low quality so when this one popped up on my feed, I knew I had to share it. Loved the drive and passion in the music, and Markos crazy, silly introduction. Thanks for reacting to this, Tommy.

Ok many people will probably hate me for saying this but this is my preferred version of Symphony of Destruction. It's not because it's NW, or not quite, it's because of Marko. He kills it! And in case you want to listen to this while on the road, there is another live version on the "The Siren" single, available on Spotify. I blast it a lot! My favourite music memory are definitely all the concerts, but especially winning VIP for an Apocalyptica show, getting to meet Perttu and Paavo and then having a spot at the barrier. I am a short woman, being right in front of the stage is huge in terms on enjoyment. A close second place is probably seeing Marko here live, dude has presence!

@TheWolffAndTheMelody Same for me. I don't now why, but I found you here, making your "first steps" on KZbin 😅. A humble man, who thought that it is a obligation to reply to each comment 😅.... I'm so happy to see you now 💪🤘🤗. I wish you a happy new year! 🤗🤘🍀💫

I mean, I love Megadeth, but look how good they'd be with a quality vocalist, particularly live as Dave often struggles live. My favourite memories of 2024, the support and love of my partner and our daughter that got me through two surgeries to remove tumours (benign nasal and sinus) and another to get a new hip! Hopefully no surgeries in 2025, and a new job as I'm being made redundant on 31/12!

Um......ok. I LOVE the original version of this song. Back in the early nineties, I was super into Megadeath about the time this came out. Now you wanna give me a version with Nightwish using that Synth??!! Crazy cool....is the only thing I know to say. The only thing that would have made this cooler is if Floor or one of the other two female singers from Nightwish would have sang on it as well. Marko killed it, though!
