A California medic soldier who was stationed in Iraq, told me about the time she and her companions heard this song for the first time. In her words “Although I heard the original hundreds of times, this one pierced my heart like a bullet. There were no dry eyes in the room” Mission accomplished Angelina. Yes, the guitarist is Ivan Mendez & in a recent interview he said Angelina called him to record a song so he asked which song, so he could practice. She didn't have a song in mind, but said they would work it out. He drove straight from his day job & didn't even have time to change his shirt. She wanted to do this song which he had heard a few times, but never played it. So he spent 5 minutes going over the chords & she says "Just follow me," & this is the result. This is either the 1st or 2nd take & he said they only do a 2nd take when he messes up. Her Norway guitarist, Egil Clausen, said she works the same way with him. That blows my mind as this is a masterpiece, IMO, & it's just 2 amazing musicians jamming, one is 12! She is a full professional now at 15 & her recent cover of Adele's All I Ask, is her best work, so far, IMO. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpitpqOomNB1rqs

So so nice to get you back with more Angelina reactions. Ivan was contacted by Angelina`s manager during their staying in US, and they made some great sessions at their home. This is a great demonstration of Angelina`s way of slowing down a song. Giving her all the "room" she want to dive deep into the song to excavate and hold out emotions we never knew was there. Like she did to "Bohemian Rhapsody", or even to Chris Isaak`s "Wicked Game". I would love to see you react even to that one. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3qkfnlqe6mZrZY I don`t think you did that one yet. Hi again Queen of the North. Angelina is certainly something special. Can I cast your memory back to your reaction when you had a survey & viewers votes on whether they preferred Jackie or Amira? You said back then that you would react to more of Amira’s performances, but alas, we have not received any reaction as yet. Maybe the copyright restrictions are a concern, but other reactors seem to have overcome such restrictions.Regardless, there is one performance that , I don’t believe, has any such restrictions & this is Ave Maria by Gomez at the Canisius Church when Amira was just 11 years old. This emotional performance is simply unbelievable & shows just what a natural talent Amira is. Even in her top register, she does so effortlessly and without strain. Please see what you can do to slot her into your obviously busy schedule. Cheers, Graeme

Hi Graeme! I hear what you're saying, but unfortunately the only Amira requests I've been asked to react to are ones I've already watched or filmed. I also don't tend to react to songs I've already heard by Amira, even if it's a new performance, because I've found I don't give the best reaction. Maybe go back in time & try one that I’m sure you haven’t reacted to & has no copyright restrictions ( to my knowledge ) The performance is: Ave Maria by Gomez at the Canisius Church. Amira was just 11 . This is a magnificent, powerful & emotional performance. Also try Sound of Music medley when Amira was 15. She sings about one octave above the original by Julie Andrews and absolutely nails it. May need to pause & comment a few times to overcome the copyright logarithmic barrier. Just another reminder from my last one some 4 weeks ago regarding Amira’s performances you have not as yet reacted to. “ Ave Maria by Gomez at the Canisius Church “ at age 11. This is a different Ave Maria to the normal one & it is absolutely incredible. “ Sound of Music medley at age 15 where she sings about one octave above the original by Julie Andrews and nails it. Lots of breathing on the mic. Irregular placement. 7 years after Norway's Got Talent and she hasn't improved much. Sorry, but it's not impressive at all. Compare with Amira's improvement in just 2 years after Holland's Got Talent.
