Correct a year ago today and I was fortunate enough to attend Angelina’s live concerts in her home country Norway in the summer of 2022 , Angelina’s stage presence was amazing her live vocals phenomenal, and Norway is one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever seen the scenery and views are out of this world, checkout (House Of The Rising Sun ) by British Group the Animals from 1964 absolutely amazing and probably the best version, great reaction thanks 🙏

She hooked up with this quartet when she was 11 (before moving to the US). Came back to them, though not all the same people from four years prior, and seems really comfortable working with them. I think the keyboardist may be able to play anything.

Great reaction - you picked out the most important features of this rendition! Angelina giving it a very soulful feel, as you say, more feminine. The band did a great job in this concert, as you say, following Angelina's lead. It was all very emotional, especially between the songs. After the concert I caught up with three of the band members (they had played for Angelina in several concerts before the pandemic). They were so happy to have had the chance to perform with her again, doing the best to follow her rhythms. To really appreciate Angelina's talent you need to go to one of her concerts. Angelina has a concert on September 22nd in Portsmouth, New Hampshire (musical Hall) - If you are quick you might be able to get a ticket!

Great reaction as always! I was on this concert, and it is definitely my best musical experience ever. Like you said, the concert took place July 10th last year, and as her birthday is JANUARY 10th, this day marked her 16,5th birthday. A 16,5 year old, extremely professional, humble and amazing artist. IMO the best singer in the world 😊 Much love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥

This song was out over a hundred years ago in various forms. Rambling Jack Smith did it meany years ago as well. The Animals with Eric Burden had the most popular release in the mid 60’s. I played and sang it in my little band in 68-69. You are correct, Angelina sings this sweetly and clearly. She also plays the guitar on this at home. Thank you!

She did this song by herself playing guitar in her room late at night for a TikTok video she titled "Jammin' at 5 AM in New Orleans." I think it's even better than this version with her band. BTW, anyone that plays for her has to follow her lead since she is totally unpredictable & ad-libs a lot. You got to be really good to play for her & you need to do it "on the fly." @@keithserafy It certainly is Keith. When I first heard the second verse I immediately thought of “scat” singing… the jazz technique using unintelligible words for lyrics. Of course, Angelina’s “scat” singing was absolutely beautiful.

Great reaction Maria. About six months before this performance, Angelina was up late one night singing and playing the guitar and released her original take on this classic. I believe this was originally on TikTok. It was so delicate and pure and was accompanied only by her guitar picking, not perfectly played, but her guitar skills were steadily improving. The last “verse” of this brief song also show her developing improvisational skills. Although it’s only 1:56 long, this version is worth reacting to. It is stunning. Nice reaction! I wished I was at one of those sold out concerts she had in Norway during the summer. So many people that were there said she sounded even better live in person compared to listening to her here on KZbin. When I kept hearing this from those people, I told myself when the opportunity is right, it will be definitely be a bucket list item I will do. Anyone who says she can't sing and uses auto tune must have cement in and between their ears! Cannot wait for the new EP to come out!

👣This simply was a blast and a blessing of a consert, and I do hope to revisit with you every singel song she performed. 🤗I can`t get enough of it. As the matter of fact; I can`t get enough of Angelina, her voice, the emotions she evoke in me, and the emmense joy I get from listening to her music. The way she took us all by surprice with her first song is even such a joy in it self. House of the Rising Sun is a traditional folk song performed by many singers. Bob Dylan did a stunning version on hi first album and the Animals probably picked it up from that. They rocked it up a bit to make it fit better in the pop market. Did you notice that Angelina messed up the words ("My mother was a gambling man")? So at least we know she is human! She also sued my new blue jeans. But the great thing is she doesn't do what is natural, like pause and stop or get frustrated, she just plows forward like a professional, so you have to be listening closely to pick up these things. In some ways is makes the performance more human.

The house of the rising sun is very old. Possibly 1600s. History is a bit hazy. Published in the USA in 1925. The Animals had a hit with it but didn't originate it.

Y’all need to get your ears checked. She cannot stay on pitch to save her life. Back when I was in high school, she would not sing good enough to make my HS choir. She has a recording contract when there is a young girl out there who is 100x’s better, and cannot get a record deal at all. This other girl does not need auto tune. Angelina cannot sing without it. She is so bad she hurts my ears. That’s how far off pitch she is that seems none of you can hear.
