Wanted him to know so that way people don't get the wrong idea if Matt reacted to Josh without knowing what happened on Twitter.

The same can't be said of NLJ, who had old things pop up one after another, didn't come out in front of any of them to own up or apologize, and even in recent years has engaged in... questionable activity in regard to race. Like when he was (and this is from memory, so forgive me if I get details wrong) asked to take part in something for black creators due to some machine error, and asked his followers if he should do it anyways, rather than just ignore it or report the machine error of inviting him; or part of his involvement on the Black Anime Character cypher, where he apparently *really* wanted to include a line where he says "ningen", Japanese for human, but clearly sounding like... well, you know.
