REACTION: Baby Shower ... or lack of it.

There is so much to say about this… Sorry, this will be long. 1 - This was such a sad scenario. For my baby shower (I have 2 kids but I only had 1), I was surprised by my mom, sister, and in-laws. My husband was in on it. He took me to “brunch”, which I really believed it was since he ”accidentally” slipped the wrong date (a great strategy for anyone planning a surprise). My girl was the first grandchild/baby for my family. It was a joyous occasion with family and friends. Now let’s observe the contrast…the morning of her shower Alex was ALONE in her house. She drove HERSELF and all the balloons to the venue. Her husband left her alone to pick up his family. She set up herself; her mom did nothing and Lily picked out the cheapest flowers ever. Her guests filled 2 circular tables set for 5 and one rectangular table set for 6. She had enough gifts to fit in an island and her little table. Yar’s family stayed the night and she was assigned the task of getting them breakfast (and heated up leftovers). There were no friends there. Mimi and her cousins weren’t there because something is off, and she wasn’t seeing Mimi or she’d record it. This was a truly depressing excuse of a shower. 2 - The LIES… A - “I would have vlogged but I wanted to be present and people didn’t want to be filmed.” These same people were filmed at your wedding. You filmed your fake proposal, wedding, and honeymoon. You film yourself sitting on the toilet. All of a sudden privacy is a thing? We’re not stupid. You didn’t film because you weren’t happy and it isn’t what you wanted. B - “I didn’t film opening gifts but I didn’t want to bore people.” And yet you have no problem showing everyone your grocery chronicles with every one of the 64,784 watermelons you’ve purchased this summer. I think the thing that bugs me the most is how much she insults our intelligence, like we can’t tell she’s lying. We know she’s not healthy, her bloodwork isn’t good, her husband doesn’t love her, she gained most of the weight she lost, this shower was garbage, she’s disappointed in the gender and there’s something off with her family. Why does she think she can fool everyone?? Her monetized lies and fake persona are in trouble, because you can’t photoshop the kind of parent you are. It’s evident in your children.

There would not have been all the rushing around the morning of. She could have decorated the night before and had it done. Is she not close with any of her neighbors? Hi Tarah, I couldnt agree more with everyone here that this shower was so depressing. She could of filmed everyone seated at a glance because faces are not clear from a far to make Yar's family comfortable, she has no memories to look back on unless she took photos with those who attended. The flowers were terrible, like no thought went into them. Back at the house, no one was probably there, anyone can play sounds from their phones even cats, so I dont believe there was a baby. If she was having a girl things would of been different. Everthing for this baby is sad a glumy. I feel bad for him and the life that awaits him with these two.

It is gross, but the only bone I’ll throw Alex is I can understand being salty that my husband ditched me the morning of my shower to pick up his family rather than allot this task to ANYONE else, then told his relatives they could sleep over after the shower, then made it my responsibility to serve everyone breakfast. Yar can be such an absolute jerk. I’m not saying Alex is a prize, but it’s your wife’s baby shower. She’s carrying your baby. Prioritize her maybe and drive her there, and then maybe YOU get yourself to a bagel place and grab breakfast for your family the next day. Really. 🙄 Oh, but he’s SO wonderful because he drove to Wholefoods and bought her soup after she probably yelled at him to.

Im sorry i was in and out of chat T. Those flowers were the worst i have ever seen. Wispy, see through, cheap and very unprofessional. I could do better and i can just about arrangement a bunch in a vase. As you said blue hydrangea would have been beautiful. I don't think there were anyone more than the mum,the florist and possibly the pdf father there.There were a few gifts in same wrapping paper, so from one person.Maybe from grandparents who have obviously clear the deck and jumped ship. I think it's partly because she has no friends any more, and just socializes with Yar's family now, but because she wants to be seen as wildly popular, she doesn't want anyone to know that. She tries to make things mysterious, so that people won't see how boring her actual life is.

She’s pulling at straws. I bet there were 10 people at her shower and her family wasn’t there. I notice that they all disappeared after Alex posted that Jenny Craig bit on instagram. Frankly, I think it sucks that Mimi took her and her mom in and she’s monetizing posts on tiktok that make her childhood look traumatic because Mimi tried to get her not to be morbidly obese. Imagine giving your daughter AND granddaughter your home, your love, your resources only to have them grow up and put you down???

@@Itshoneybee4me oh boy! I wish I could cut and paste. I made two comments. The first one’s gist was that she could film both her weddings, but couldn’t share the baby shower she went on and on about. I added that she probably didn’t film it because she didn’t want her father to appear on the video because he’s not supposed to be there. My second comment was about Yar spending 20 minutes putting together their stroller and showing every detail of that, as they are hoping to shill it but couldn’t show more than two minutes of the shower. No opening gifts, nothing! Then I added some snarky comment about Yar’s grandma not making the cut for the pics!

@@StaceyHeathxoxo I can do tiny ones but I have them with cottage cheese. I did try them with peanut butter and it didn’t end well. There are some fruits I won’t venture to try still - oranges is a big one. Husband had a terrible experience with fresh orange juice so that deters me.

She does not have a proper bump yet but honestly I do think in the last couple of vlogs when she is makeup free you can see that she is getting that plumpness around her lips and nose which looks like pregnancy and not just over eating related fat. I really think if Alex would not have been so insufferable from the go with the being pregnant thing, none of us would have gone so hard for her. She did seem a bit sad after the shower.

@@MothGirl007 it will never happen, although Tammy Slaton got successful surgery, so there is that remote hope. However Tammy was always kind of honest in how horrible she was, but Alex just wants to pretend all is well and prove haters wrong rather than just cut her losses and be honest. She is her own worst enemy.

@@nicpic1985 nah, Alex was horrible before she got pregnant and has proved it’s just to buy stuff. She doesn’t listen to anything anyone says especially advice or not to gain more than 10 lbs. Plumpness can happen just by overeating. I saw a picture of myself from 2 years ago and I barely recognized me.

As a vet nurse can confirm dogs can take on their owners traits...good or bad. Also small dog owners tend to think they don't need training because they're small...so there's that!

Bruno has had training - he went to a doggy training camp when he was a puppy, because Alex and Yar were too lazy to train him themselves. He's not really a small dog, imho - Cha Cha is a small dog.
