Fan participation is one of the key that sets Babymetal apart from other bands/groups. Their songs pretty much have parts written in it, where the fans can join in. Well, you've seen how a Japanese crowd reacts to Babymetal... You should checkout how a much younger Su has a western crowd completely under her control by watching Karate performed in Download 2016.... Performed in the rain, the crowd totally in to it..... If you're looking for tear jerkers, Akatsuki Unfinished or No Rain No Rainbow from Legends S XX are what you're looking for. The emotion, and performance in those two songs is second to none. Lots of singers has power and range (see Floor or Tarja), but Su is a master at putting emotions into her performances. I remember you loved watching Babymetal Death, you should checkout In The Name Of from the Legend S XX. 🤘🦊🤘

Your reaction to Babymetal Karate Live is still one of my most favorite reactions to Babymetal! I play it often because I love their Budokan 2021 Live performances. Especially Karate!! I'm not sure if you have done this, but I strongly recommend reacting to their first live performance, which was doki doki morning. And then react to their Budokan 2021 performance. I get such a kick out of them performing as children to that song, and it's so light-hearted and fun. Then, as young adults to the same song. Now, in my opinion, it sounds like they not only kept the child like feel to the chorus, but MAN did they make it heavier!! LOL! I think you would get a kick out of it as well and find a huge appreciation to their later performances of Doki Doki Morning. 🤘🏽😁

Great & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 Especially I appreciate beautiful tears in your eyes. Likewise I watched their shows with tears at the venue last year. BABYMETAL held 10 concerts here in Tokyo including the period of the states of emergency caused by COVID. Even many of their fans criticized the producer for taking such risks to hold the big events then. The Team BABYMETAL, however, challenged the situation and took strict and perfect countermeasures against the infection. The audience, of course, cooperated with them and abided by a number of restrictions and accepted inconveniences to protect the event and make their shows ultimately successful. That is our pride as BM fans.

Great reaction, having seen Babymetal 3 times they ALWAYS but max effort into their performances.
Karate is all about fighting against foes both external and internal and the power of friendship to bring you through troubles. It's a great example of how BM can emotionally modulate a performance. They start out heavy and by the end it's more intimate and quiet drawing you in before slamming back into some metal riffs and soaring Su singing and a final quiet conclusion. This is a 2021 Budokan performance and so is missing Yui and I think with her the song is even more emotional, so you might want to check out the official video or the Download 2016 performance which has Yui and masses of crown participation.

There are lots of great Budokan ‘21 compilations that are KZbin friendly. Normally compilations aren’t ideal. But the editors have made a real effort to ensure a good presentation. Highly recommend checking out performances like BxMxC, Distortion, Starlight, Shine, Brand New Day, From Dusk Till Dawn. They all show a different musical side to BABYMETAL and have amazing visuals.

⚡ 💀 💕 / 👻 👻 👻 There's a good reason this was the featured single from the second album. : ) They made a lot of friends among other groups by playing a bunch of metal festivals, and this song converted quite a few. As is usually the case, the riffs are even heavier live than on the studio recording. Like a lot of BABYMETAL songs, this one has a positive message about facing life's challenges. BABYMETAL performed at Budokan ten times in 2021, with concerts in January, February, March and April. 'Karate' was performed at all ten shows. Those were the only BABYMETAL performances in 2021, and the most recent concerts. Of course we're hoping they'll return to live concerts and touring sometime soon. Yuimetal (Yui Mizuno) left the group for health reasons in October 2018, although it had been a year since she was on stage with BABYMETAL. Supporting Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto) and Moametal (Moa Kikuchi) at this show was Momoko Okazaki. Momoko was the supporting dancer ("avenger") for the last 25 BABYMETAL appearances, including all 10 of the 2021 Budokan concerts.

Yeah, I live for those very, very few groups that inspire true LOVE with their audiences. Babymetal and Nightwish are two bands that for me transcend a group that merely produces a bunch of great songs, but instead create a space for people to have a musical home that they can always go to. Home is where the heart is.

Nice reaction. Don't feel bad or discouraged by a block by youtube or anyone else. Think of it as a badge of honor. Someone is paying attention. Even if it's too much attention. You did a great job. The song has a powerful message that Babymetal delivers like the masters they are. Moa's Karate part to start is great fun. But when Su comes in it gives me chills. Confident and focused and determined. They had to be. In their early days metal gatekeepers tried hard to keep them out. Babymetal found a road of resistance. AC/DC took the highway to hell. Metallica road in like the four horsemen. And Babymetal created a foxhole with a whole metal galaxy in it. Enjoy your journey through the Babymetal galaxy of music down in a foxhole.

The crowd interaction they have it's outstanding, you can also see it with the Download 2016 live of Karate! Unfortunately this song was performed under covid restrictions, so there were many policies that were put in place to be able to perform, like everyone in the crowd had 2 masks, and they couldn't sing, shout or scream. That's why team BabyMetal recorded voices from the fans from previous concerts, and used them in here to create the same atmosphere they are used to have everytime they perform! But from how everyone pumped their fist together, you can imagine that if fans could, they would have screamed just as the recording did!

You can cry it's ok, i cried at the Live of Megitsune, i was... I don't know, moved inside, proud to see how well they grown, proud to see Su being such a Diva, Moa taking, at last, her real place and Sadly not Yui but it's ok Momo is here and she is absolutly awesome. About the Audience... well it's Japan and you can't really compare a public from Western to an Japanese one, they love far beyon what we, occidentals, think it's "normal". Don't forget, BM was created to be an Idol group and the Idols are half gods in Japan ^^

BABYMETAL has mentioned that they see their live concerts as a "joint creation" together with the fans (you can watch "BABYMETAL Reacts to KZbinrs React to BABYMETAL" for reference), and you've definitely picked up on part of the magic! This isn't unique to them, of course - the nature of audience participation in Japan is a bit different from what we tend to see in other countries, and BABYMETAL is an excellent showcase of how it can add so much power to a concert. I hope you enjoy more of their songs! If you're a sucker for great crowds, songs such as "Road of Resistance" or "Megitsune" are also excellent choices.
