Yeah their performances are top tier. My favourite live act, possibly ever. Speaking of “they aren’t even out of breath”, if you find their Karate performance at Tokyo Dome, during the interlude, you can really see how exhausting their performances are. They look drained and had two more songs left, but they hyped up the crowd, and got their second wind. One of the few times they allowed their exhaustion to show. Other shows, I’ve seen Su clearly controlling her breathing during breaks while keeping her metal warrior face on. Absolute professionals

Great reaction. 'Karate' was the lead single for their second album. It is about fighting adversity, when life knocks you down and everything seems too hard so you're hurt and crying, its about standing up and fighting on, helping each other through the hard times. They used karate to illustrate this as it is a Japanese martial art and reflects their culture - it is also all about always moving forwards. They did watch a lot of martial arts movies to get ideas for the choreo as they wanted it to look as authentic as possible.

@@TheNewAgeDevilSlayer Hi, it is from the 10 Budokan 2021 concerts and yes the Blu-ray/DVD is available. You may need to get it from Japan. Asmart or CD Japan both have it (I find CD Japan less confusing).

⚡ 💀 💕 / 👻 👻 👻 The LA Forum concert (October 11th, 2019) was their only arena show in the USA so far. That was the album release concert for the Metal Galaxy album. The staging was very similar to THE SUN ALSO RISES shows at Yokohama arena, or the BEYOND THE MOON - LEGEND M shows in Nagoya for Moa’s 20th birthday earlier that year. Even so, a big BABYMETAL concert in Japan is also on my bucket list. They keep getting better.

Yes, it’s so unfortunate that this level of high-tech entertainment is only available in Japan. They spent lots of money for these massive moving screen stage structures and lighting and laser effects which could change the entire atmosphere of the venue instantly. It was simply astonishing. They chose not to cut corners even in the middle of the pandemic because the fan would never deserve it. They are absolute professionals and created incredible entertainment shows for us. I was so lucky to get the ticket and it was f***ing amazing! I wish all Babymetal fans could've been there. 🤘

So good to see you coming back so soon once again. They're not releasing anything asides from the snippets so as soon as we get new info you'll probably know by Alan so don't worry.😉 Budokan 2021 marks their 10 years anniversary celebration and seal the Metal Resistance chapter along with another seal for the group, fortunately that seal is gonna end sooner or later since they're releasing exclusive snippets of new songs on their digital gallery called "The Other One", a restoration project currently around 58% completed. They fought against many enemies on this road and many more battles, but they manage to get through all of it, and this song is one of those strong weapons they had, to fight and conquer every metal heart that don't believe in them, you probably already know Road Of Resistance if not I highly recommend to check it out. Budokan is just a name for general martial arts place, there are other Budokan throughout Japan but this one in Tokyo is the most important and is big, this is the place any artist wants to reach when you're over the top, and they did it already in 2014 when they were even younger and having many struggles so they needed a revenge to pull away those ghosts from the past. Sadly this 2021 live concerts is a half capacity due to covid restrictions and safety measures and crowd wasn't allowed to mosh'sh, crowd surfing or shout without face mask, instead they can stomp their feet, clap their hands or doing a human wave, at least they can do something to participate in this epic and memorable date event. Momoko Okazaki was the _avenger_ or third backup dancer filling the third spot in all these 10 live concerts. If you want the real highlights songs on this 10 BABYMETAL Years live shows I highly recommend you not to miss: - "From Dusk Till Dawn" (long time waited proshot version) - Akatsuki. (SuMetal solo mixed with a little bit of the Unfinished Version) - Onedari Daisakusen (MoaMetal solo along with baby-foxes) - GJ! (another MoaMetal solo) - No Rain No Rainbow (SuMetal "playing" the piano) - In The Name Of - Babymetal Death Shin Version - BxMxC - Syncopation Of course their classic songs and the rest are enjoyable too but just like this one is better if you check those when YuiMetal was still with the group. You can find all these songs with watermarked logo safe to react at BMRR, check "Future Plans" vid and follow instructions to get all of them. See you next time and always put your kitsune up! 🦊🤘❤️

It's been a while since you did a Babymetal reaction. Karate is more djent or metalcore as some might prefer. This song won Best Metal Song at the 2016 Loudwire Metal Music Awards Show & Metal Resistance won Best Metal Album at the same shows. Su-Metal voice is stunningly beautiful and rich. This song is about fighting your inner demon and never giving up no matter how hard it gets. Please 🙏 do more Babymetal reaction. That "Hashire" in karate will always tear me up everytime. It just gives me a sense of epicness and energy that I have never felt with other songs before. Noticing little things like Su removing her IEM to hear the crowd always gets a thumbs up from me. Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。On Jan. 19, last year, I watched the Karate performance with tears in the Day-1 show of 10 BABYMETAL Budokan Concerts at the venue. Especially, when Su hit the high note flawlessly at the end with her matured rich voice, everything was soothed. Fans knew Team BABYMETAL had gone through hard time in 2020 that was supposed to be a glorious year to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The serial 10 shows in Tokyo were held including the period under the states of emergency caused by COVID. Even many of their fans criticized the Team for taking such risks to hold the big events then. The Team, however, challenged the situation and took strict and perfect countermeasures against the infection to complete them. The audience, of course, cooperated with the Team and abided by a number of restrictions and accepted inconveniences to protect the events and make their shows ultimately successful. That is our pride as BM fans.

Compared to when the corona infection was severe in Japan, the ban on live performances with a large number of people has gradually been lifted recently, but Babymetal's concerts at large venues have 40,000 people or more, so it's still full-scale. It's a bit difficult to hold a national tour. But from next year, I hope to be able to tour all over Japan and the world. Also, I hope that Yui Metal will appear on the stage at that time.it’s our dream.

Great reaction! Maybe you saw Babymetal in Moscow in 2019. That's a great experience, and I'm so glad you had the chance to see them. I have seen them about 5 times in Japan e... It is an unforgettable experience. About BABYMETAL business. Koba, the producer, has been working for a label of domestic metal bands for a long time since he joined Amuse, a music company, but he had a very hard time. In Japan, metal tends to be looked down upon, and the company's position was weak because it could not generate satisfactory profits. In the end, I was placed in a small section of cultural activities: food education and music. There, Koba became involved with the children's talents belonging to Amuse. The children were assigned according to their talents, and those who liked dance and music were assigned to the children. However, there Koba met a girl with a unique voice named Suzuka Nakamoto. Her voice did not fit in the chorus with the other children, but Koba felt that she had a special talent that stood out from the rest. He wondered if there was a way to make the most of her voice, and from there BABYMETAL was born. The company did not trust her at first. We didn't have much of a budget, and the costumes for the three girls were made by hand in our section.We participated in an idol festival with our first song "Doki-Doki Morning". The girls sang at a small food court in a corner of the large venue. Their unique song got a lot of attention, and as their fan base gradually grew, the venue gradually became larger and larger. Finally, they were chosen to perform at metal festivals in Japan, and the company began to recognize their abilities and provide them with a budget. The domestic goal was to rent out the Budokan for two days (at first it was planned to be one day, but after seeing how well tickets sold, it was decided to make it two days). Koba, troubled by the small size of the domestic market, decided to go out into the world. The first touchstone was his participation in the Sonisphere Festival in Nepworth. They were underage, and it was a decision that required a lot of courage. But after that, you'll see. Their stage is not a huge set that the company has capital to build. It's not a scare tactic, it's all about meeting the expectations of the fans who buy tickets and come to the festival. We are not always in the black. Thanks to the efforts of Koba and the girls, the company has come to believe that big budgets are an investment in the future of music. Even though Amuse is a profit-oriented company, it is still a music company. The lesson to be learned here is Koba's idea of what would happen if the first J-POP and metal were seriously fused, and Suzuka Nakamoto's voice that made Koba, a metal proponent, think so. She was less than 10 years old at the time. All of BABYMETAL's sound production has been supported by Kova's excellent ear. Su-Metal's father used to play in a rock band in Tokyo. I think that gene must have played a part, too. I believe that all of these coincidences and encounters are the reason why BABYMETAL continues to amaze us today. I apologize for rambling on.

Just a point on your comment about Babymetal sounding like Nemophila, Babymetal formed in 2010, Nemophila formed in 2019, the point being that it is the other way round Nemophila sounding like Babymetal. What you need to no is that Babymetal were the first they lead the way for all the others all so Babymetal opened the door to the west so we could fined all of these Japanese bands. 🤘🦊🤘

I have to say, I'm rather frustrated with the current concept of very slowly releasing snippets of songs until... something happens. I'd just like to see them do one more concert before they reach retirement age lol. But in all seriousness, I have to say that this particular song is a favourite of mine. I fell in love with the music video first (worth the watch - very well done! And contains 100% more Yui as well 🙂) For this performance and whole concert they did indeed capture the girls exceptionally well. And you can catch Moa blowing cheeky kisses here and there if you watch carefully hehe.

@jeremyboynowski37842 жыл бұрын
Although I wouldn't say I'm frustrated, I totally get where you're coming from. I just try to keep in mind the following. They have to wait until Pandemic ends. From what I understand, all 3 avengers now have their own things going on, so they kind of don't really have any reliable avengers to draw upon, so they need to figure THAT out. If you think about it, the girls have never gotten to have a single break from the moment Babymetal was formed. So this is as close to a break as they've even been able to take in over 10 years now. Lastly, from what I understand about, ESPECIALLY with female vocalists (maybe Anastasia Luna can either back me up, or say I'm wrong), their vocals don't stop changing until they are in their mid to late 20s, so this might be giving Su a bit of a chance to train a bit more with her vocals, and learn what she can and cannot do. Similar to how Morissette knows exactly what she is capable of. I don't know if you know who Morissette is, but if you do, then you know what I'm talking about. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Su doesn't know how to sing. She is an amazing singer. She is one of 2 singers that can actually put tears in my eyes (Morissette being the other one. Her song, "Could you be Messiah" kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWjJkmqvf5mWoa8 gets me every time at the end). Just saying, a singer can always discover more about their vocal instrument. Anyhow, I went off on a tangent. What I was trying to say is that in regards to the snippets, I don't bother listening to them, because I know if I do, I'm going to be left frustrated and wanting more. To me listening to some 7 second snippet is like watching the last episode of the season of your favorite TV show, and it ending on some dramatic cliffhanger, but now you have to wait for heaven knows how long until the next season is finally released. So I avoid the snippets at all cost lol
