Pity they shortened the video to omit the part where Mo and Robin dance off at the end. So funny. Am I the only one who gets the feeling that Robin and Alan might have come up with that guitar solo without telling Barry? He looked so happily surprised. If you want Rock with harmony try ' House of Shame', a Maurice lead.

Holy Angel!! I love this track. All of "Size" is just magnificent. In 1993 they were in such strong voices. They had come through a difficult time. Barry and Robin waited for Mo to finish rehab before they started working on the songs. They wouldn't write without him. The harmonies and chord progressions, as you noted, were beautiful and unexpected. This is one I play really loud with the windows down in my car. It is the next track after "Paying the Price of Love" - another high energy keeper. I also really enjoy this video. Robin and Mo on the same microphone, and at the very end Mo grabs Robin and dances. Oh Thank You. It is definitely a keeper.

@irinaarcher3253 жыл бұрын
@@lena-mariag.louis-charles3579 isn't it funny? Robin has so perfect sense of rhythm (can rule his voice) but can't do anything with his legs. Perfect coordination of voice, head, vocal cords but legs. Hm? We love him so much. Dear Robin.
@lena-mariag.louis-charles35793 жыл бұрын
@@irinaarcher325 Well, Robin's famously offbeat leg kicks only made him more endearing (at least to me...). He's actually got the rhythm down pat on many occasions - the video clip of "ONE" being one of them (where he's rocking that cap, too...)...😊

Good as always, Chad! And you're right, sharing lead-vocals between Baz and Rob/Rob and Baz is always mesmerizing. Brings so many of their songs to a higher level of quality. BTW, the songs 'Heavy Breathing' and 'Voice In The Wilderness' are the most rockin', they ever did. First one even funky, second one kinda speed-rockin'.

I like this the way I LOVE You Win Again. Visually, I love when Mo wears the denim jacket. You never know what the other two are going to show up in! Favorite. Outfits when I picture them is YWA. But I felt a smidge musical Beach Boys influence in the harmonies too. I liked when Robin and Barry physically switched mics - they rarely did that. Sometimes share, or step back, but not move to “the other guy’s place.” This was early 90s? I should know but it had just a sweet kiss of the 80s.
