Love this song! My mom also had this album (I recall loving the bulldogs on the cover) and we listened to it a lot when I was around 9-10 years old. Definitely a blast from the past and a big #1 hit for Toni and Darrel. A lovely and thoughtful choice from a lovely and thoughtful person. 🙏🥰 We’ll chat soon! 🙂❤️

Toni Tenille had a fabulous voice. One of the best vocalists of that era.

Biggest song of 1976! Everyone was singing this song back then. That's why they put people singing it in the streets on the video. Fun summer that year! I was a kid and saw it all!

They sure had some great songs…even that quirky “Muskrat Love”. RIP Captain

Hi again young lady, that was a lovely gesture, playing that wonderful song for your friends. The song is a classic, written by the super talented Neil Sedaka, you don't hear songs like that these days. It would be interesting to see your reaction to a John Denver song, he was super talented and big in the seventies. Anyway great reaction, take care. 😊

Didn’t like it then. Don’t like it now. BUT love your channel for the wide range, in style and era, of your reactions. Congratulations and thank you.

I appreciate that Brian - 'respect' is the only word I can find to define you - we need to 'clone' you. We can't all like the same thing, but it doesn't mean we tear down the things we don't like - quite the contrary, the people who do rise above that, and respect all things are are the true 'leaders' of this world. Could you imagine if we all adhered to that notion? You are way and above 'most' - I'm humbled! Thank you 🌹

They were a great team, but they got divorced. The Captain was abusive.
