This is one of my favorite covers from Dan. You spoke of how he seems to choose his songs with care. Somewhere I heard that as his faith became stronger, he began to pay attention to the lyrics of songs he was considering covering. If they spoke of subjects that went against his faith, he wouldn't do the song. He also chooses songs that give the listener a sense of power. Thanks so much for reacting to Dan. He is such an amazing man, in so many ways.

Dan enjoys EPIC music. So power metal, such as Dragon Force, Rhapsody of Fire, etc..., is what he enjoys a lot. I'm not sure if you've seen one of his outros where he says his channel spotlights epic and powerful music. Personally, I enjoy his covers where he takes good songs in their own right and makes them powerfully EPIC (Amazing Grace, Angels We Have Heard on High, etc...). Having a great voice, that he has worked so long and hard to hone into what it is today, only helps to make everything he does that much better. I've seen a few videos where a reactor is taking 3 or 4 versions of a song's covers and comparing them, and Dan's versions, in my opinion (as well as several others' in the comments), put the other covers to shame. He simply makes EPIC (and tasteful) music and it shows!

This is one of my favorite songs! The original singer was male and had a lovely voice, but- Dans voice is so much richer and fuller, and yes, masculine as all get out! ❤️

Nice reaction! I love all of Dan's music, but something about the DragonForce covers just really speak to me, especially this one and Starfire. Dan picks his songs first because he likes them. They also ha e to be powerful and epic. Dan takes every single song he sings and, through his Dan mojo-magic, makes them true works of art that make you believe that you can conquer the whole world. Hell, the whole universe! Yes, he's that good! The other day, he put a short teaser of something he's working on on his social media, and it was just 30 seconds, but it was EPIC! So eager for that finished product! Keep the Dan reactions coming! 🤘🤘🤘
