The great thing about Dan's channel is that he doesn't delete past songs he has done. There are at least 2 songs, possibly more, that he has done a second cover several years after the initial one. This gives the viewer the ability to compare where he started and where he was when he re-did the song. You get to see the progression, not only vocally, but physically; from scrawny man-child to well-muscled man and from decent voice to powerful, controlled voice.

Thank you for your great reaction to Dans wonderful rendition of this song! I get teary everytime I hear Dan sing it. His voice is so powerful even when he sings the softer songs! Even now when Dan is in his early 30s, he does have a baby-face❤ Its the way his gorgeous features are put together. The facial hair he has most of the time only hides it a little. Btw, I agree about his lovely accent 😍

I think he's clean shaven as it was 5 years ago! The lyrics are arresting yet sad. I think most people could identify one way or another with this song and as usual, Dan conveys it beautifully.

I think he has the ability to get emotional involved in every song, you can hear and see that he really loves what he does! That what makes him special, he manages to make songs better than bevor! Dedication and love for what he does is what makes him so so good and fantastic! ❤

This is such a sad song of Pain and betrayal ... of giving everything to a long relationship. Being tied by love and time into a one-sided affair, only to finally realize that you are alone, and, always were because your love just didn't share those feelings. Dan emotes those feelings of pain, bewilderment, anger, and, finally acceptance so well. This one always makes my eyes tear up. 💔

You should watch Dan sing An American Trilogy. He recorded this song only five days after his father passed. It was his father’s favorite Elvis song and he sang it as tribute to him. It’s extremely emotional. Wait until the end, he shows a picture of his father holding Dan when he was a child.

I've been enjoying your Dan Vasc reactions so much, you have great insights. If you like the more sensitive Vasc side, I recommend The Last Goodbye, his cover of the Billy Boyd song from The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies. It's another sad song about loss of a loved one, tragic yet beautiful. On a personal note, I'm practicing it myself, to sing next year when my family unites to spread my little brothers ashes.

If you don't have it in que yet, I recommend Dan's cover of Motley Crues "Kickstart My Heart". It's so rambunctious and pure fun with lots of energy and hair flinging! .....and he's clean- shaven in this one too. He also does two more Motley Crue songs at about the same time period- around 3 years ago. Enjoy!❤

He is and has a great voice undoubtedly, but in my opinion he’s not as good as Dan…Dan doesn’t perform a song, he lives it, with emotion, guts, charisma, truth…. I haven’t found another one like him yet

@@romypie3725 There is no need to compare the 2 Men. Dan is amazing and so is Tommy. Tommy is lead guitarist for Sabaton as well as lead singer and guitarist for Majestica. He is multi-talented.I simply thought Maria would enjoy Tommy as well. Have a Blessed day

Dan doesn't keep his beard all the time - sometimes he is clean shaven. I can't see Dan singing with Gabriel Henrique because he is not a metal singer. All of the collaborations Dan has done are with other metal singers.
