"So is the master dead for real now?" He never dies mate. He and the Doc are destined to do battle forever. Sacha Dawan's particular incarnation is probably done though.

In the Timeless Children just before the explosion you can hear the master say "you lot over here" in the background so he must have had the Tardis we see here on standby...

Kate probably didn't get a hologram chip BECAUSE it would have to become Smith or Capaldi... and the budget didn't cover that LOL BTW That's the 7th Doctor's sweatervest.

I can't wait for the next 3 specials and the new season after.

The costume changed because RTD didn't want the media to play up David Tennant wearing a woman's costume! Apparently. Tennant came back because Ncuti Gatwa was still under contract to Netflix (or whatever) and couldn't legally appear in character as the Doctor.

That makes sense! Personally, I think it would have been really cool to see David Tennant wearing her costume. I mean, we did get to see Sacha Dhawan in her costume, so I don’t think it would have really been that big of a deal. And I’m honestly surprised that RTD had any control over it since this was still a Chibnall episode. But I’m sure Chibnall gave him some creative leeway since it’s directly connected to his new run.

I’ve not loved this era, despite loving Jodie in the role, but I really enjoyed this episode and being the BBC Centenary special it was perfect to focus on Classic Who nostalgia. One point re: the guns moment (which felt odd to me as the Doctor telling someone to hold a gun felt wrong) not many Police officers here carry guns. Only a small group who gave specific training use them. This was also A lovely final moment for Jodie and I am beyond thrilled Tennant is back as he is my favourite Doctor. I’ve also been able to see some of the public filming for the 60th specials with him and Catherine and co so I’m very excited to see how it all fits together.

You should watch classic Dr.Who episodes in order to get the references! ;)

I only liked a few episodes of this era but none of them felt like Doctor Who and this episode did bring back a weird nostalgia because it didn't feel like DW but it did (?) it was a good and decent final episode for Jodie, at least she had that and we had a decent and GOOOOOOOD episode. I believe they put "Introducing David Tennant" because he's another incarnation and I think he's not really the same Doctor as the first time, just the body. We don't really know but i believe it's something like that.

Confused why you didn't watch the teaser at the end🤔

I wasn’t aware it existed at the time! They normally have any teasers after the credits of the episode, and they didn’t here.

@@spamsir Ah I see. It was straight after the episode here in the UK. It looks gd😁

It's not clear storywise why Tennant is back as yet but he is doing 3 specials before Ncuti Gatwa takes over.
