Yes, we got to see the brightness possibilities for the future, but we still saw a crap ton of mistakes that come from bad coaching. Maye got up (thankfully) after getting drilled numerous times and these spank monkeys are busy patting THEMSELVES on the back like this was amazing and their great idea yet. I would have loved to see the game where I'm confident that DM isn't going to wind up injured eventually, but I didn't. There was nothing worong with protecting your future franchise QB for dismemberment. Nobody can say that this was the plan. He was brought in, to put asses in seats and save jobs. I predicted London the earliest, but Mayo & co. couldn't put a well coached product on the field to spare the kid even that. Why are we confident they aren't gonna F this up?

Me personally I really don’t think Elliot has done that bad of a job, he literally was handed a pretty crappy roster and so far has been given one draft and one offseason, he resigned the good players who mostly all got hurt, and then you can say he missed on the offensive line but the guy everyone wanted the Patriots to take was sent off from the Bengals and replaced by TRENT BROWN! Gross! So ultimately the only real criticism outside of him maybe being more aggressive with trades for tackles which no one would do since there’s a shortage in the league you can only criticize him for is Calvin Ridley which to be honest is probably a blessing in disguise because that guy stinks. And also you can say the offensive line was awful to start but we are at the point where every position outside of RG is on 3rd stringers or practice squad players due to injury so how can you even evaluate the line he put together

He was in the front office when the Patriots stockpiled this dumpster fire. He, Groh, and others are just as responsible for the poor roster. Also, although a small sample size, he completely misjudged the draft when the run on tackles started and left the team without a legit LT to start camp.
