There was literally 0 African culture in the video. Their oufits were inspired by the ones european queens used to wear. Their backup dancers were dressed up as lions too. There’s no cultural appropriation in the mv. Idk what you guys are on about lmfao

For you to even felt uncomfortable/triggered that the video was african inspired proved that you are also culturally ignorant. People in all over the globe used arrows back in the days and there are tribes all over the world too, not just in Africa. Lions exist in Asia too as well as in America continents at some point and because of their habitats been destroyed over the years that the lions in Africa are outnumbered than others. Seriously though, people just get triggered on anything these days.

Yeah like: 1. Lions exist in Asia it isn’t just an African species. There’s a reason they’re called African lions 2. Arrows were used by ancient Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, etc...) in war times. 3. The dresses and costumes were Victorian 4. Headdresses and such like they used in the music video were also worn by ancestral Korean/Asian deities/royalty they just added spikes and such to them in the music video for effect There was literally nothing to get pressed about
