- Hagi now both owns and coaches FC Farul Constanta, the very first team that discovered and promoted him when he was young (I'm proud to say that i'm i fan of this team too) - FC Farul won the 1st league in Romania for the first time with a lot of -21 years players which Hagi discovered at his own academy or with players that messed up their careers and got back in the game by Hagi. - In the last 7 years, the most important players of the Romanian national team have been trained by Hagi. - Financially, Hagi's team has a budget of +3mil € while other top 5 teams has 2 times more than that, the 2nd team CFR Cluj with even 25+ mil €, yet still FC Farul won the league. - Because of Hagi's fame and influence, he put pressure on the government to finally make a new modern stadium in Constanta after we had to play on a 70 years old ruin. 1 month ago they demolished it. when Hagi was in his prime at Galatasaray, he say in a press conference after the world cup in Romania his most famous words: "seeing the condition of the romanian football, you should make us a statue how we play".... he was and still is so right after almost 30 years... Hagi is by far also the best manager in Romania... they should indeed make that man a damn golden statue!

You are too young to understand. Before the year 2000, training was harder. They trained and played on a normal field from the age of 5. They were shooting 30-meter shots from the age of 10. Today they train and play official matches on the 30-meter field and shoot from 10 meters until the age of 15

Skill wise from what I know he isn't the best Romanian football player. We had also The Prince from Trivale - Nicolae Dobrin. That man turn down Real Madrid offer to play for them. He was a f-king wizard with the ball. Also we had Adrian Mutu. Who played for Chelsea and Fiorentina. That man was crushed by his own vices. He had huge potential. Huge. We also had one of the best GK - Helmuth Robert Duckadam. He is famous for defending 4 penalties in 1986 at European Cup Final, achieving victory for our team Steau București against Barcelona.

Hagi carried romania. But in the team there were also a few stars like Ghica Popescu (defender, captain of Barcelona) or Dan Petrescu (chelsea defender) and later Chivu (inter captain for a short period of Time because of Zanetti) or mutu (ex chelsea or Juventus player).
