John's family says he is free of cancer and singing around the house. Such wonderful news, what we all hoped and prayed for. His voice, his range, his breath control, his musicality - just astonishing, never heard anything anywhere to match it. 22.9.23. UK. E❤

Such an epic performance to a huge crowd. Apparently there was 110,000 people at this rock/pop concert and they loved John over there. John would have to be one of the greatest live performers of all time. So much energy, passion, emotion, and flawless vocals, and the rest of the band awesome too.

I am always amazed to see shots of Vanetta Fields doing back up singing for John. She must have been constantly flying backwards and forwards between the USA and Australia. Apparently, she knocked back some big gigs in the States because John and Glen were about to announce another farewell tour ( lol ) and she did not want to miss it. Unbelievable.....

Since Kappy seems to be busy...this concert was Galopprennbahn Riem, Munich, Germany Jun 26, 1987 Along with Bob Geldiff, Chris De Burge on the same day at differnt times. The concert went for several days with other artists Eurythmics, Tina Turner, Joe Cocker appearing on the other days. On the 28th John did another concert in Stockholm and 3rd July he did Hamburg.
