Ik I'm late but I feel that it's more of they dont want to take the risk. Even just one person in a regiment corrupted can lead to him telling another freind and swaying him. That person swaying another. And before you know it you have 200000 chaos cultists running around. That's all theoretical but in the eyes of an inquisitor even 1 cultist is a big problem. Same reason so many planets keep getting blown up

Yeah he was being serious about their tactics of dropping churches into battle. There actually is a 40K movie but it was terribly low budget CGI and best ignored. There is however some Sisters of Battle in the 40K 9th edition launch trailer. They are currently expanding into movies and shows as of the last year, nothing concrete yet but these things take time.

The thing with the mechanicus wasn't completely right explained. Most of the Mecanicus believe that the emperor is the omnissiah. And also the limbs are not cut off, they were grind off. Especially with scitarii, they get at least 50% of their body replaced. The grinding should remind at the times on Mars when the Mechanicus wasn't founded yet and the marsians dying and get sick by the radiation.

Luetin09 has a two part lore explanation on the Grey Knights. It's fairly long but some of the coolest shit you'll hear. The recruitment and training process as well as their equipment and armour is just ridiculous even by Warhammer standards. We're talking holy runes and sigils inscribed on their bodies and armour that ward off demons and make them almost untouchable, a war banner drenched in the blood of a thousand fallen chapter masters that burns so brightly with psychic energy that demons can't even look at it and being physically near it literally burns them to cinders, stuff like that

"Maybe they keeps it hush-hush" Nono, the tech priests are very open about their belief in the Omnissiah and belief in the machine spirit. But it's hard for anyone else to really start up because 1. Where do you even begin? Even the Techpriests have forgotten how to make more technology than what we got today.. and can often barely maintain it, even with their wast knowledge. How do you start from scratch and hope to compete 2. To the techpriests, someone working with machines without praying to the machine god is herresy to them.. and they'd probably kill you "Are there any warhammer movies?" Only 1.. and we don't talk about that one. And it's not about GW not granting licenses, for games they grant a ton. But the amount of CGI that would go into making a space marine movie is insane, so the costs would ramp up very quickly. And for an "untested" marked (there are no previous 40k movies), it's a big risk. It looks like there might be a TV series in the work about an Inquisitor named Eisenhorn. But there haven't been any updates on it since the whole corona thing. "Can they weaken the power of deamons by being in the presence of sisters of battle?" The warp is as you said affected by human feelings and actions. The sisters of battle "counters" the warp enteties with their own zealous beliefs in the Emperor that is so strong that they will his power into existence. Check out the 9th edition trailer (kzbin.info/www/bejne/eGq5YZWFd52mjrM short, 3:27, nice small react) for an illustration of the sisters using prayer to heal themself. They also have a "special division" of sisters who are called "Sisters of Silence" who are have a gene defect that more or less means that they have no soul. Therefore they have no presence in the warp, and counteracts warp enteties and spells. Even normal people are affected by them, feeling something is a bit off, or feeling unwell around them.. this often leads to the "blanks" (because no soul) to get killed at an early age. But while normal people feel unwell around them, they cause physical pain to demons and psychers alike, and is such a very powerful weapon.

You're not kidding. In Dark Heresy (a WH40K rpg) if you play a Tech Priest, one of the skills you get early on to repair malfunctioning gear is called the 'Sacred Knock' or 'Technical Knock' which is exactly what it sounds like - hitting the thing in just the right way.

The adeptus custodes were trusted with guarding weapons the emperor wouldn’t even use cuz they were too dangerous. So I think they would have the best. I’m not even sure the mechanicus would even know of the massive vault of tech in the imperial palace because the custodians are very good at keeping secrets.

About Striders - Golden Age tech sometimes DOSENT break. Like, at all. But it has a very high chance of never turning on if you turn if off. So in a way they are big thinkers for not shutting those bad boys down. Why it dosent turn on? Imagine a PC... then remove ALL knowledge of PC. Then leave a few PCs left with all the passwords, firewalls, blackout shutdowns and all active... And shut it down and then try to turn it on. You get what i mean.

the Emperors bff the first lord of Terra Malcador the Sigillite, formed the grey knights out of specific special individual space marines from all sort of chapters, there was one guy from world eaters, one from sons of horus, one from dearth guard, that I remember from top of my head. they had all stayed loyal to the Emperor when their chapters turned to chaos. he took them to this moon base and pretty much told to go crazy. and thats how the grey knights came into existence.

Lets talk mechanicus; STC and a little bit about servitors. Back in the day mankind set out for the stars with generation ships, sublight torch drives or primative warp drives without navigators or the astronomican. Collonies could take centuaries to get up and running and if they got into trouble help wasnt coming. To counter this mankind came up with the STC or standard template construct. This is (Mostly) an archive database of most human technology. The idea was collonies would be outfited with one and it would provide them the blueprints for weapons, fusion reactors, agricultural equipment, medical tools ground to orbit infrastructue; whatever thy need. Further more you could also put in the peramiters of your needs and it would draw up designs bassed on existing technology, avalible materials and industrial capabilities. No known STC have survived intact to this age. It is the holy grail of the mechanicus on their so called quest for knowlage. The imperium is very restrictive of new technologyand mechanicus doctrine states that all is already known; they just have to find it. Further more the reverse engineering of alien technology is forbiden; that would make you a foul Heretek (see what they did there). The vast bulk of imperial technology is based in STC fragments. You take the pecies of known technology and you bend them to suit your needs and put them together like lego peices... if you are a senior mechanicus techpreist and thus allowed to do that without being carted off and lobotomized. Its kind of a meme that the mechanicus doesnt know what its doing. At least some of them mostly know how and why a given thing works. This gets a bit sketchie with the more advanced stuff though. Most of their preyers are basicaly instruction manuals turned into ryhmes to aid memory and their incence is a kind of lubricant/preservative. Though machine spirits are absolutely a thing and not Abominable Inteligences in any way at all. The other kind of STC is an automated production line that makes one given thing. They found one that made better knive for space marines. The two gaurdsmen who found it were given a planet to rule; each; in perpetuity. Kind of a big deal really. As to servitors. The imperium builds these things rather tha robots. They are everywhere and ubiquitus.Not going to get into the details on them as I would like to see you react to them. as they are just that F**ked up, though not as bad as demonulabra (and no do not look that one up). Does anyone know a good sevitor vid thats sub 20 mins? If so please leave a link.

Also the reason why the Adeptus sororitas is female only is because of a hole in a Law passed after some Ecclisiarch got hard nuts (Goge vandire). To clear stuff up with sisters and the warp. Each creature is reflected in the warp. Their emotions primarily. Emotions of faith and belief can manifest small psychic phenomena, sisters don't cancell the warp instead they passively channel their faith into psychic powers which have no visible effects minus cucking demons. The sisters channeling of the warp is so extreme in the recent lore that they can break through null zones 'barely'. Even those crafted by necrons.

The Adeptus Mechanicus quite literally manufacture 90% of everything in the Imperium. Your guns, tanks, spaceships, ammo, armor, equipment, knives, loaders, radios. This basically gives the Mechanicus free reign to do basically whatever they want. They're also needed for maintenance, since a lot of the stuff the Imperium uses is 100s if not 1000s of years old. Imagine if you started a war with The Mechanicus, you would get no new shipments of ammo, so you would eventually run out, all your equipment would start to break down because no one actually knows how to properly fix them other than a Tech-Priest, star ships would eventually stop working or worst case trap its crew in the warp without a gellar field. All while The Mechanicus is completely unfaced with their gear, ammo etc. That is also why their gear looks better, because they are the ones who made it. If the Imperium doesn't like something that the Mechanicus is doing, the Mechanicus will basically respond with "Well what are you gonna do about it?" There is also a fan project named Astartes. There is actually a video where two guardsmen are behind a tank. One guard is kicking the tank (#2), while the other is on the radio (#1). Guard 1: “He’s kicking it... he’s kicking the tank. Hatch on the tank open, and a Mechanacis pops his head out. Looks at Guard 2, gets angry, and throw a wrench, hitting the guard head. Mechanicus: “angry dial up noises!” Guard 1: “Hahahaha... he stopped kicking.”

to be fair , bricky does very very broad strikes to describe everything , and doesnt really explain a lot about the empire , the emperor and the relation between the imperium factions. And whhat he fails to mention is that the emperor is so powerful that he might literally be a god. And he actually does protect and empower people at times (and yes , he actually has imperial saints - his equivalent to greater demons). For all this "everyone is evil in 40k" , i can tell you that there are multiple multiple shades of evil , and for all the dogma , fanaticism , and whatnot.....mankind is not as evil as bricky makes it seem like....compared to the alternatives i mean

Oh hell yeah the corruption is that bad. Chaos can corrupt you by you just being nearby. Even being close to chaos makes you a massive threat. After winning a battle against chaos guardsman are required to go through months of "interrogation" (torture) just to make sure they are not tainted. And yes the custodes do not like the grey knights.

The thing about the Mechanicus is that before the Imperium was created, the Mechanicus was already a thing in Mars. When the emporer set out to begin the great crusade, he knew that tbe Mechanicus was so powerful that fighting a war with them would be too costly and not worth it. Instead of fighting them, the emporer made a deal. The Mechanicus would join the Imperium and be in charge of making weapons, gear for the Imperium and finding STCs (blueprints for ancient technology). In return they would receive a lot of autonomy.

Well they are more like collective moderate Psykers, they all pray to the emperor and believe in his divinity, because they are many and they believe HARD sometimes miracles happen or demons get weaker because they simply override them with their own power. Although worth mentioning this is a side effect of the warp being very turbulent nowadays and they being absurdly religions and dogmatic in beliefs. There actually are these Nulls who have a opposite effect of the psykers, whereas the latter would use and manifest the warp in some form or sense the former are like warp proof and dampen all warp effect around them. So when a psyker encounters a null he would start tearing his face down because if the distortion that the mere presence of a null creates. Fun fact: since all humans are connected to the warp these nulls also makes the lives of the people around worse. The start to feel fear or feel sick while around these people, and they are born This way, so many nulls don’t live past childhood because they are basically killed by other people(without either sides knowing why this is happening)

Bricky makes some lesser and bigger flops when speaking about Adeptus Mechanicus and i think in points will be the best to explain 1.Martian Mechanicum belive in the holy trinity, Machine God from who the universe gets all technology, Motive Force that bring all Machine Spirits and Machine to life, and Omnissiah who is a physical avatar of the Machine God 2.Most of Mechanicum claims, that the Emperor is the Omnissiah, build from blood meat and bone instead of oils and steel 3.For Dark Mechanicum, the Chaos Gods are the Machine God, and the Emperor is nothing more then a thief and usurper 4.Most probably the Machine God can be in fact one of the most infamous C'than, Magladroth the Void Dragon locked inside the Noctis Labyrinth on Mars (knowledge that better stay buried forever)

How the adeptus mechanicus got to that point of ritualism is heavily influenced by their birth after the Dark age of technology, where humanity was at its absolute peak. Basically Mars was artificially turned to a earth like planet, Everything goes to shit, the machines start failing and the planet starts turning back into its current form. Surface becomes mostly uninhabitable, the vast majority of people die with the rest fleeing underground. Now the only things keeping these survivors alive were the 'sacred machines' of which very few people actually understands anymore. instructions and procedures become holy procedures that must be obeyed without actually understanding why. Over time turning into their current versions.

There is a confusion in the video, the Machine God and the omnissiah are different things. The Machine God is in what the mechanicus believe, their god, while the Ommissiah is his Avatar or prophet (in modern imperium, before the imperium they were the same thing). The loyal mechanicus believe the Emperor of Mankind to be the Omnnissiah, he is not worshiped as God but as an instrument of God. The relation between the Mechanicus and the Imperial cult is similar to the relation between Christians (imperials) and Muslims (mechanicus), we both believe in Jesus (the Emperor), the Christians believe that he IS God while the muslims only believe in him as an extremely pious and holy man, a prophet of God but never the same thing. A big faction of the Mechanicus left the Imperium during the Heresy and joined chaos because they thought that the Emperor was a false omnissiah.

Just buy a new camera? you have been doing this almost 6 months now and complained about camera almost entirety of that time. Logitech c920 for 60 bucks pumps out better quality video with adjusted settings with 0 limitations of overheating or memory.
