I've watched this video a dozen times since it came out and I still cried right along with you! This is one of the most joyous collabs since "Just Sing" and I'm still amazed that Peter and the Home Free guys are so humble and sharing. They are all fantastic singers, and they do a lot for their Patrons!

I loved your sweet, emotional reaction! It was a powerful video with all of those beautiful voices together! This is probably one of my favorite U2 songs, so when I first saw Home Free announce on Patreon they were inviting their Patrons to submit videos, along with Peter and his Patrons I knew it was going to be epic. I wanted to participate, but I chickened out. I mentioned it on Peter’s Patreon page and he commented he hoped I would submit next time. He is so real and super nice! His voice is amazing! Home Free and Peter Hollens together are so good!! I know there will be more in the future.

This one moved me so much too. I adore U2 and as always Peter's voice has such clarity and warmth that I'm entranced. The sense of community and unity they brought to the production is what we need right now when we can't physically be together. Much 💗 P.S. I squealed so loud when Peter pinned my comment on this video. My fangirl was showing a bit. P.P.S. Peter released another collaboration today (I forget with who, sorry!) for Let It Be, a Beatles cover. It's also gorgeous and has the Hollens Family (Patreon community) choir again.

But everyone did an incredible job, and I love that they used parts from the Amazing Grace video as well! All the best!

Peter has a couple other colabs with his Patreons. The Dawn Will Come from the game Dragon Age Inquisition, and my favorite This is Me from the Greatest Showman (my family and I are pictured in this one, but I'm not telling where 😋 ). Both with like 500 people. I am continuously amazed at the technical abilities of he and Home Free's teams to put these kind of things together, and I'm a techie!

Or the ones that kinda drive me crazy, click off the video every 5 to 10 seconds to make random comments! Especially the vocal coaches! Ashley, you mentioned Bioshock Infinite game, so you may be interested in checking out another artist who makes original music to many popular video games, movies and series. Gavin Dunne aka Miracle of Sound. He did a song for Bioshock Infinite back in 2013 ... Dream Of The Sky - kzbin.info/www/bejne/d3ycfWiwiKmFn6M Sometimes he features a guest vocalist, but most times he's doing all the stuff as a 1-man show by himself. He is a highly talented and very friendly person.

@stevebuffinton10943 жыл бұрын
Your reactions are the best. I was smiling right along with you. Keep it up kiddo, and btw your makeup was on point today, I'm glad it made it through the tears, that looks like it takes some effort to do. I'm just happy to have clean hands, I dont know how you ladies do it but as a red blooded American guy I can say I genuinely appreciate all that effort. If men were expected to rise to that level to go out and meet ladies the world would end in about 36 days. No way we have that in us. You girls never cease to amaze me and watching my little girl whose 11 turn into a little lady I'm still stunned everyday just how great the fairer sex is. Quick story to bolster my claim. Obviously the age old struggle to get us to put the toilet seat down has been present in my life for, well, my entire life. In the military they made us leave them up so our toilets could be inspection ready so I used that as a silly point as a rebuttal to my wife always getting on me about putting the seat down, and I thought I was being pretty clever because admittedly after 21 years together I still dont win arguments with her, shes always right, even when i want to be right deep down i know shes right so subsequently i literally have not won one single argument weve had, shes just better than me, i married way, way up. So in the toilet seat debate I thought I had an opportunity to finally get myself a win until one day, when my little girl was 3, I hear from the bathroom "DADDY!!!! so I bolt to the bathroom only to see my poor little princess was sitting down in the toilet. She looked me dead in the eyes and said "Daddy, you didnt put the seat down!" with a very disapproving tone. Poor thing went to sit on the toilet like she was taught only to find her knuckle dragging daddy sabotaged her good faith attempt at mastering going to the potty. In an instant I knew that too was an argument I'd certainly lost and to this day I have diligently made sure that seat is down and my little girl never puts those disapproving eyes back on me. I have to be her hero, not her toilet nemesis. Wifey 6004 wins/no loses, daughter 1 win/ no loses, me, no wins/6005 loses. The only time defeat is acceptable and oddly endearing is when it comes from your ladies. Man I have to start reading some more books or something, I'm getting outpaced at a staggering level.
