I knew you would love my recommendation. I got another great recommendation for a reaction. It has him covering Jimi Hendrix, Elvis and other songs with great guitar solos. Prince is just jammin’ the whole time. The video is titled Prince Montreux Jazz Festival 2009 - Show 2 Start at 7:30 and end it at 26:30

The keyboardist is Tommy Barbarella. Prince had awesome band members. You definitely had to know how to play to get in his band.

Great reaction Todd!!! I love this performance of his! You are correct, Prince mimicked Santana almost perfectly. It shows how much of Santana's music Prince must've listened to in order to mimic him so well. Prince himself said that he grew up with Santana's music and that he was inspired by Santana a great deal. It really shows here. Another Prince live performance I would recommend is him performing his song "Shhh" live at the Coachella Music Festival in 2008. He has two killer solos in that performance!
