The Dodgers have been waiting for years now for Lux to have a breakout year, and it just never happened. Lux deserves to start on a team somewhere, but the Dodgers are ready to move on from him. I loved Lux, but maybe a change of scenery will be good for him.

Remember when Lux was a top prospect for them and was considered untouchable in trade scenarios for them, gets hurt, goes down and never was the same, always loved Lux, kid is still very talented. Wish him the best in CIN as love the return for the dodgers too, alot of potential in that draft pick and that OF. Time will tell though

Hopefully the Reds can improve Lux's defense as it is marginal at best. The bat will always be there but I always held my breath when a ball was hit his way. He has a tendency to drift mentally and forget where he needs to be defensively or is too slow getting there.

As a Dodgers fan. I say yes, since India wasn’t good defensively; while Lux can play good enough defense and his bat warmed up a lot since the second half of 2024. Meanwhile, India has been regressing in both offense and defense (especially defensively). His career DRS is near -10, and his batting stats are pretty average when you consider Great American Park is ranked in the Top 5 most hitter-friendly parks.

I think Lux plays left field, and they will try him at 3rd in the Spring. McClain is a gold glove caliber second basemen.

McLain is NOT playing the OF. McLain will DH for the first month of the season, and Lux will play 2B. Then they'll switch. Candy at 3B, EDLC at SS, and CES at 1B.

Dodgers wholesaled lux. No getting around that, he didn't fit or wasn't good enough to fit the direction but he had a lot of opportunities to be in dispensable

Bring back the O’Malleys!!! This regime has no loyalty to the players. I enjoyed the drafting, development, and playing in the major league team. I don’t like the dumping of prospects because they no longer develop them.
