Beautiful reaction. "this is art" is spot on. I'm an old rocker, seen so many great artists in my time, nothing in my continuing musical education has prepared me for Ren, and why would it? His musical influences are so diverse hat he plays in different lanes, dipping in and out of genres, mixing them in a way you'd never dreamed possible. He is a once in a generation musician. Each of Ren's songs are beautiful in their own way...lyrically, musically, instrumentally, dramatically, vocally. He's a good one to begin listening to in the long run. Do get caught up on all his stuff because his stuff is GOOD!!! Loved the reaction!

For REN, this was truly his reality. Ren had misdiagnosed Lyme disease for 7 years by conventional doctors who deemed him mentally ill, but when patients are experiencing neurological symptoms, they very often become misdiagnosed. Lyme disease can present itself as many neurological conditions including Acute Transverse Myelitis[3], Ptosis[4], Seizures, and Chronic Fatigue[1] and these symptoms can be often misdiagnosed or deemed psychosomatic. Second is dealing with the symptoms of Lyme neuroborreliosis, these neurological symptoms often leave patients feeling drained and debilitated as they begin losing their quality of life. Over time, patients find themselves unable to do the things they love as they struggle to get ahead of their progressing symptoms.

Welcome to the Renaissance! I must say that I absolutely LOVE your voice and accent. I find it very soothing so I subscribed immediately! This was performed LIVE in one take. He had done 4 takes prior till he felt confident this was the one to go with. Ren has been battling severe illness for years and the Dr.'s were trying everything they could think of to try to treat him. It got to the point that he was bed ridden for a long time and his body was shutting down. Then they found out he had been bitten by a tic and he has Lyme Disease. It was so bad that it actually caused him to have bouts of sycosis and he would have brief moments of hallucinating to hearing voices. He is in Canada now being treated for the Lyme disease and he is doing so much better! His last album "Sick Boi" went to #1 in the UK charts of which he is from. His music is transcending. Everything you hear is so different from one another. He's profound, and has the world captivated! You need to react to these and somewhat in this order to truly get the whole Ren experience before you go into his other works; Ren - The Tale Of Jenny & Screech (FULL) which is a 3 part series of songs that are all related to each other, then Ren featuring Chinchilla - "Chalk Outlines", then another collab with Chinchilla "How To Be Me" That's enough to get you fully embraced to the whole package that is Ren! Gifted is not a word I would use to discribe Ren, he is selfmad talented, learn every thing online, but he also went tru hell due to sickness, enduring incredible pain, lost all faith and deeply wanted to die. This is art of transcendent beauty and an *important* song. Artists often struggle with imposter syndrome. There’s a movie starring Olivia Munn called “Violet” that rings of this and was a transformative experience for me-much the same as this song resonates. As a person who’s never been able to escape negative self-talk and imposter syndrome, *realizing* that I can exert the strength that destructive voice questions-strength that already resides within me-was sooo important. It takes time to push past the negativity-to make your own voice stronger, but if anyone out there is struggling with this, please please please *know* that you can do it. *Know* that I believe in you… but you don’t need me to-just like you don’t need the shroud of doubt that feels first of protection and then as a prison.
