They sing about the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648) .. Where Sweden became a great power 💙💛

A powerful song, Nate, thanks for the reaction! I learned this in Swedish just to be a part of such an epic singalong!

Nice reaction, I was at this show (sitting somwhere in the middle of the platform to the left from this view of the stage) The album Carolus rex they had released during that time is about a part of Swedish history called the era of great power (stormaktstiden in Swedish) from when Sweden was a much bigger nation with ambitions of expanding. The album was released with both an Swedish and English version,the difference being that the Swedish one tells the story from our/a Swedish soldiers view while the English is more from an outsiders view of the war. They had sold out the arena for this show so there was around 10766 metalheads in the arena, needless to say, it was one hell of a show that night.

A medic? "The Ballad of Bull" is the next Sabaton song for you. Leslie "Bull" Allen was an Australian stretcher bearer in WWII, but I think it'll resonate. He's credited with saving 12 US soldiers by going alone into fire and bringing them back one-by-one. All 12 survived, and he never took a physical scratch. He would be recognized by the United States with a Silver Star, but he was never recognized, even today as far as I know, by the Australian government. I do wish people would react to lesser known Sabaton songs and get them out there. Also, check out their Sabaton History channel for background on all of their songs.

This song has an English version as well. While the Swedish version focuses on the single soldier of the 30-year war, the English version focuses on a broader scale. War in general, to the theme of the 30-year war

So being a medic seems like an career that fits you, please continue that. I myself went as a UN soldier to Bosnia in 1995, you didn't miss much except knowning what's really important in life.

Being brave enough to becime a medic, even you (thank what ever you believe in) never has to be activated...: Salute.

The song is about the 30 years war but the sentiment applies world over. Also, in modern times, the Swedish military have been active in Africa, the Balkans, Afghanistan. UN missions. There is a law about general draft but this gen, maybe 1/10 even get checked, less are "drafted". Now, things might change. During the Cold War into the 90's it was most if not all were called when they were 18, most if not all, served. Not professionally, but for like 12-18 months, basic training. Men. Of course ;)
@Richie84068 ай бұрын
The law is the same though. If shit hits the fan all able bodies like 16-75, called in

Hello. Lovley reaction as always 😊👍 I got an idea of what you should do if you feel like it! And that is to react to all Sabaton's songs in all the albums they have! What I mean is to go all in with Sabaton, Even if it will take time as you react to other music too!😊 But it makes absolutely nothing if it will take time if you decide to do this journey! I am sure you would have loved it and not regretted it! 😉 I want to recommend songs to you!😎 You can skip the ones you have already reacted to if you want! The valley of death Dreadnought Soldier of heaven Stormtroopers Steel commanders Kingdom come Defense of Moscow Fields of verdun A ghost in the trenches Great war official video Devil dogs 82nd all the way Seven pillars of wisdom All guns blazing The last battle Shiroyama 7734 Man of war Hearts of iron Killing ground The Carolean's Prayer Long live the king Metal ripper White death Coat of arms The final solution The price of a mile Cliffs of Gallipoli Metal Crüe Nightchild Back in control In the name of god Metal machine Purple heart Wolf pack Panzer battalion. Remember that it's perfectly okay to show emotions and cry when listening to music in reaction videos, etc. I love your channel ❤️ Sabaton has been my favorite band since they were formed in 1999 in Falun here in Sweden!🇸🇪 Warm and kind greetings from a big Sabaton fan in northern Sweden (Västerbotten) 🇸🇪🇸🇪

@@NateRockne Lovley to hear!😊👍👍👍👍 I think you will like that challenge and journey very much!😎 The songs I suggested are from different albums with Sabaton! You don't have to react to the songs you've already reacted to, unless you want to of course! you decide of course! It should be fairly easy to find each album with accompanying songs on either KZbin or Spotify! KZbin should have all the videos for all Sabaton's songs! animated, official videos etc! If you need help/tips, There are many of us in the comment field who can help you if you need help during this journey 😊 It will be very interesting to see and hear what you think of all their songs! And then when all the albums are finished, Please tell us which is your favorite album!😊🙏 Sabaton is also working on a new album! 😊 Warm and friendly greetings from Johan
