Nothing helps a QB’s processing speed more than having an OL that lets defenders come through and getting in your face. Spencer had good numbers at SC considering his OL.

The Saints realize what they did when they selected Rattler in the 5th. They got a young talented QB with a superior arm. They got a quarter back that they can continue to build around. Rattler will be good, just look at the tape and how he plays, it will translate to the pros easily. He's greatest ability is his mental capacity to process plays, having control of the huddle, leadership, he can be all those things. The intangibles are there.

Spencer ran for his life the last 2 years at Carolina. No real press, not seen by much of the country. Watch him pick Tennessee and Clemson apart. He’s tough, knows when to throw it away and when to run, which he can do. Saints may have been given a low round gift! We’ll see!

I’d like for Rattler to push Carr. Yes Carr is our QB due to his contract. If Carr is replaced at some point in the season, Carr, after a contract restructure will be traded and Finish Allen will be let go.
