I was born on Cornelia Street, I lived on Cornelia St., some 18 years later my best friend lived on Cornelia St and later I was married in a church on Cornelia St. I am now in my 70s and live over 1200 miles from that little city in NYState. Her lyrics are so amazing. Btw you guys are awesome.

This was in a theatre-2,000 seats, all free. They were all like…prizes raffled to folks who bought the album or entered contests and stuff. She paid to perform that for everybody. (Since she had to pay for the theatre, pay her backup vocalists/band, etc. Not in this song, but in others.) I just think that’s cool. I mean, imagine buying an album and then winning a ticket to see all those songs performed live for the first time. Like…fuck, man, I would lose my mind.

Taylor played this hour long concert in a theater in Paris two weeks after the Lover album came out. Most of the songs are from that album. The theater holds 2000 people. They could only get tickets through online contests or buying a vinyl album. The pandemic started after this concert. She never got to really promote or tour for this album. It was the first one she "owned."

This was performed at L'Olympia in Paris, which has a capacity of 2000-3000 people, so definitely a small venue for her. This is my absolute favorite live performance of hers. The emotion, passion, and energy she puts into it is just....🤌🤌🤌

If I remember correctly, her Lover tour was going to be a European tour with just a few stops in the U. S. Taylor was going to play in small theaters and festivals only - no coliseums. But COVID hit and her Lover tour was cancelled, so Lover never really had its moment.

It was stadium and music festival tour not theatre. She had a heart shaped stage for stadium, theatre crowd is too small to pay for Taylor performance unless there is live broadcast like this live from Paris.

The US was supposed to be Loverfest, it was 2 shows on the East Coast at Gillette Stadium and 2 shows on the West Coast at SoFi. I had pit tickets for Loverfest East night 1 😭

It's interesting to think the reason why she did a theater stop in Paris was partially because she hadn't truly cracked the French market yet at that time, France was one of the only countries that resisted Taylor's music for quite a long time. She exploded in popularity over there the last 2-3 years, the Eras Tour's next stop is in Paris and everything is sold out, like everywhere else. The Louvre has fallen!

True, first she was a country artist, we didn't listen to this in France, and if you never come in our country, there is less chance we listen to you. And she had bad luck with France. She couldn't bring the 1989 world tour because of renovations in the Paris Bercy arena, then even if Loverfest at Nîmes festival sold out in 5 min, COVID happened. And this year with the Eras tour, Stade de France wasn't available because of the Olympics Games.

Due to COVID, Taylor had to cancel the tour supporting her album "Lover," so it is believed she replaced the tour with a performance in September 2019 from the Olympia Theater in Paris. It was later aired on ABC in a one-hour special titled "Taylor Swift: City of Lover." The album "Lover" was written while Taylor was in a relationship with Joe Alwyn. I know you did death by a thousand cuts from the tiny desk concert, but the performance from this set is AMAZING. Cornelia street and DBATC live from Paris has been my top two most listened to songs on my Spotify wrapped for the past three years lol. Cause I’m always blasting it from my car. Cause this performance and DBATC are my top two fav T swift songs of all time. We’ll see when the TPD comes out on 4/19. But yeah if you have one more I would do DBATC live from Paris. And the other two songs she did from this set are the man and the archer, but I DEF would go with the archer over the man. And I think it’s the only song she doesn’t do on the guitar- she does it with production in the background. But I really hope you do a full album reaction, or song by song for the TPD because I have a very strong feeling that TS11 will be her best record yet.
