Thanks Dave! Remember Angie is only 16. I would agree that she is underrated by the public but not by the industry. Angie is still working on her brand and having fun. The marketing machine known as Republic Records is standing by. It's easy to forget her age, especially when she releases a masterful performance like this one. I have this feeling that when she is ready, there will be a lot of noise!

Thanks for this fantastic reaction, Dave. I love Angelina's covers. Not that calling them covers makes much sense, given how she manages to overturn and innovate in an unpredictable way everything she plays. I hope she never ceases to amaze us, because she is absolutely out of the ordinary and capable of empathizing like no one else. You should also look at his latest posts on TikTok (or Instagram), in recent months she has posted small parts of different interpretations, they are almost all sung a cappella in front of the phone and are great songs by Duffy, LP, Adele, Drake, Richie, Smith , Sting, Styles, Animals, and they are all absolutely fantastic, for the passion and naturalness that she manages to convey with her raw voice. 💛 🧡 ❤️

Dave, you are definitely one of my favorites! I love it when I see you react to her. She gets you every time! Underrated? Let me add my opinion. I don't think there is anyone like her today AND, I don't think there has ever been anyone like her, ever. Dave, I know you can feel her presence in your heart and how many artists can do that to you? You literally melt when she sings for you. I can hear her sing the same song for me for the 200th, 400th time, whatever, and she brings me to tears every time. You call it tone. I call it soulfulness. There's a lot of depth to that tone and it touches our hearts.

Angelina has been working hard on her own original songs for her new album and her Tour in July in Norway and maybe even France where she was scheduled to tour last year but was cancelled because of COVID. I am anxiously waiting for both.

I don't think she's underrated to those who have heard her. With the way her and her family are approaching her career (which I completely respect and agree with), she's not universally known. There are really only a few ways people discover her - NGT, AGT, or scrolling through YT. But once you hear her, you cannot deny the talent and the beauty of her voice.

Angelina, in addition to her own jazz inspired vocals, goes to one end of the jazz spectrum to bring in the breathy, sensual releases of Billie Holiday. Then, she treks over to the furthest opposite end of the spectrum. where Amy Winehouse reigned as the most uniquely different jazz singer of all time, and incorporates the 'raw' inflections like 'slurring' words for effect and changing 'key' in mid-sentence that Amy was famous for. Add the visual effect of this breathtaking 'Persian Princess' with eyes that are just mesmerizing and totally penetrating. When 'Alexander The Great' conquered all of the known world at the time, he took for his wife the 'Persian Princess' daughter of the King he just defeated. Had Angelina been there at that time in history, Alexander would have been intoxicated by not just her beauty, especially those eyes, but by her angelic vocals which would have had him dumping his beautiful Roxanne for this 'Persian Princess'. Angelina's passport may say Norwegian, but thanks to her Iranian grandma, she was blessed with true Persian beauty.

Dave, we angels patiently await the time when Angelina's family gives Republic Records the green light to promote her around the world. Personally, I believe they are doing the right thing, allowing her to mature more and better understand what it takes to be a megastar before having her assume that role. In the meantime, we do our best to introduce Angelina to more people and we thank you for doing your part and for providing links to the original video and to her two KZbin channels. Far too many viewers just don't know the benefits of subscribing along with liking a video and commenting on it. I suggest you help educate them to benefit both your channel and Angelina's (and should do the same for each aspiring artist you feature).

You are right although AJ has millions of views on social media, I don't think I know anyone who is familiar with her and if you google her name hardly anything comes up... but this will be her year....I believe she graduates school this summer.. She'll have an album coming out this year which will probably be heavily promoted....look for appearences on the late night talk shows..... perhaps Grammies for best new artist and a spot on the show... Live shows, cover photos on magazines..... She is ready to explode

This is my 56th time listening to this MASTERPIECE and each time I experience a new level of perfection by our ethereal prodigy extraordinaire, Angelina Jordan. When you listen to the A cappella portions of this performance you are truly experiencing the genius of Angelina Jordan’s PERFECT PITCH. Sinatra, rest in peace Angelina Jordan, the Bare Foot Queen has taken the crown and there is nothing like her in the universe. I put this on pause and brought up Sinatra, Bublé, Streisand, Fitzgerald and Vaughan's version of this song to compare it to AJ version, and none of them moved me like this version. It is so hard to comprehend that Angelina from 7 to 16 is the greatest story telling being in my 74 years of experiencing great vocalist and I can't wait for the rest of the story.

Remember her family has slowed down her intro to the world because of her age. Everyone knows she will get very famous, very fast once Republic Records turns her lose and actively works to promote her. This will happen this year, I’m sure of it.

Angelina ... can you believe that voice? I so agree with you that she is changing a lot this past year and now she has such power and solidity and charm. Her voice keeps developing incredibly and at any time is way ahead of the curve that the curve has flatlined for stretch behind her. She just smoothly slides from note to note with so much dynamics and using so many techniques. Dave, hi, AJ will finish Highschool end on June 2022. As she mention in her Christmas-Concert. THEN there will be a album out and a Concert in Norway. THIS will be the start of her official career. I hope for a cooperation between AJ and Adele, as both admire each other. NO I do not tell nonsence, AJ told us multiple times to be a fan of Adele and Adele herself is qouted feels honored by the covers AJ did. I totally agree, she is definitely underrated! There are You Tube releases with Artists not even 1/10 of Angelina's releases on You Tube that get 20 Million views in couple of weeks. Good example, her, "I Put A Spell On You", when she was 9, It's rediculous in my opinion, it just shows that America's taste in Music is really bad, God Bless!
