Marc Martel is SOOOO much better suited. He is the one that did the singing parts for the movie Bohemian Rhapsody where is supposed to be Ramey. Queen drummer Rodger Taylor said when he listens to Marc Martel when he closes his eyes he feels like Freddie is sitting right next to him.
@odile8701 Жыл бұрын
@@sulatlalakiyes - and that is EXACTLY why Marc fronting the band isn’t what they wanted for themselves. You can’t recreate Queen as it was. You can’t put a carbon copy of Freddie’s vocals on that stage. You aren’t listening to Freddie. Adam is just as incredible a performer, and he never sounds like Freddie. You can’t close your eyes and forget you’re listening to Adam, because with every note he reminds you who the fuck is singing up there. Queen deserves to be better than a poor facsimile of its former self.
@doloresweatherspoon-bb4ul10 ай бұрын
@@sulatlalaki stop pimping Marc the mimic on any video of Adam Lambert. Leave your comment on the Freddie Mercury vs Marc Martel comparison video. Christian Marc, son of a pastor condones his fans disparaging Freddie Mercury's legacy and memory. Here's a few examples out of 5+ thousand disgusting comments: Marc sings Freddie Mercury's songs better than Freddie Mercury himself, plays piano better than Freddie, that he sang all the songs on the BR movie and taught Rami Malek how to talk, walk and act like Freddie Mercury, that he's gayer than Freddie Mercury and Adam Lambert and the worldwide LGBTQ + Community missed their chance to promote him, that he's the unknown son born 9months after his mother met Freddie Mercury during Queens 1st NA Tour and even inherited Freddie's teeth. Marc is also a liar who publicly announced a non existing camaraderie with Sir Brian May and Roger Taylor who don't even speak to him. SCRAM PIMP him elsewhere.

I’ve been a Queen fan since my early teens and Who Wants to Live Forever had been my favourite Queen song, but since this performance I can’t listen to any other version. The power and emotion that Adam put into this performance hits so hard. No one will ever convince me that Freddie didn’t have a hand in bringing Adam and Queen together or that he wouldn’t be proud of everything they’ve done over the past decade. ♥️

Yes he is!! Saw him twice with Queen in Philly. They were the most amazing concerts I've been to. Adam is just memorizing. His voice, his range his performance is just phenomenal! He didn't need to win American Idol, he was self made already. There has not been anyone on AI that ever compared to him after season 9. Front man for Queen? What? You know this man is in a league of his own. If you haven't seen him yet with Queen, their touring now. I will definitely be there again. (Don't normally do this but front row both shows and will do it for this one as well). Lady Luck, I know you are going in October! I know you will have a GREAT time!!! He doesn’t get the recognition I think he’s due as a vocalist. His career was so overshadowed by his being an openly gay singer, and people were more interested in his fashion and his sexuality than recognizing his artistry. I’ve see. Him live with Queen and it was phenomenal. I stood for over two hours with a die hard 10 year old girl I carried on my back so she could see him. I stood in line for 6 hours to get into his solo TOH performance in DC, and never sat down during his concert because it was so amazing, it was like being transported to another world.

We knew he'd go far even if he didn't win Americal Idol, especially with Brian May chomping at the bit to snag him to front Queen. I saw Adam up close at the Warfield in San Francisco before he joined Queen and his voice did not go off-key once. He didn't run out of breath. He hit those falsetto notes with perfection. Also, saw him in Hawaii and was able to chat with him at a meet and greet. That was the perfect time to do that back in 2010, before he became known world-wide. It'd be so hard to do that nowadays.

Adam was on American Idol in 2009, he is gay and has never tried to hide it. They went from enjoying his singing and his great issue of his sexual preference. He ended up better in the long run because Queen heard him sing and felt comfortable with him so they ask him to do some touring with them and the rest is history. He has been touring with them ever since. If you watch their interviews he is very humble and intelligent. His goal is to be himself and sing. He writes a lot of his songs some are on the dark side and some are party down time. I recently watched his video of bad moon rising the Human Orlando version is the best. Was done in Oct 21

If you love Queen documentaries, you should watch "The Show Must Go On: Queen and Adam Lambert Story" on how this written-in-the-stars collaboration came together. I believe its on Netflix but also on KZbin if you wanted to do a reaction to it. I've seen it posted as one video (about 90 mins) or in two parts. Adam's been Queen's frontman for 10 years now and still going. In May they are picking up where they left off when the pandemic shut everything down. Touring the UK (10 sold out shows alone at London's O2 arena) and Europe. Two more QAL recommendations - The Show Must Go from the O2 (talk about powerhouse vocals) and the 15min set they did for Fire Fight Australia, the last show they did before lockdown. It was raising funds for the devastating fires in Australia and they recreated Queen's legendary Band Aid set from 1985.
