Been looking daily and just found this. Looking at the video I have a feeling it was blocked and then you were able to get it posted. Sent it out on twitter - let's get the views up! This song was written by Matt Bellamy, lead singer of a British rock group called Muse. I've always thought it sounds like a torch song, a melancholic sad song about trying to drink away your sorrows but in the end you'll be get through it. There are some videos out there where it looks like tears coming down his cheeks which makes it even more emotional.

Another wonderful reaction! Thank you. This is actually my favorite performance of Soaked. Yes, he is completely underrated. In this song, when the music stops, and he stops singing then comes back in, after keeping the audience waiting, a capella on perfect pitch without a musical cue, well, that is the most difficult thing I've ever seen a singer do. In fact, I've never seen another singer do it. Of course he is trained, but even with training, if you ain't got the chops, you can't pull it off. He has the chops.

This is one of my absolute favourites from Adam. It is an original song that he wrote and you can just feel the emotions. It's full of sadness, encouragement and hope all in one, especially for those who have had their very nature rejected or judged harshly by humanity. Oh he is soooo talented and so beautiful. He rules, he is the man. lol Elequent, great drama, performance, style, training, and intense emotion, im with you, i love him. I sing and play piano as well, you go girl.

You cant teach the improvisation he injects into every performance, or the craftmanship. Its like training a carpenter but he overtakes all the teachers & becomes a globally recognised master of the craft & produces priceless art. He never sings this song the same twice either. Or any song.

The lyrics and the way Adam sings them is just fantastic! The acknowledgement of the circumstance when someone is searching for the "touch of someone new" and the fact that "it's not the worst crime; our souls will be okay" is so powerful and compassionate! This performance is on the GNT DVD, that could be why it’s been blocked. This is the first song I ever heard him sing. As soon as he opened his mouth and sang I was obsessed. That was in March 2011. I was gutted when I realized he’d been to my county, Norway, on this tour only months before I “found” him. 11 years later I’m still in awe of his talent. If you ever get a chance to see him live, RUN GIRL! 😍😍
