Quick note: apologies for any weird cuts in the video (and the weird positioning of the video at the start) just got out of a copyright war in order to get this posted and I have re-edited this video like 3 times lol and still used youtube's automatic trim to get rid of stuff! This is a quick and easy guide that helps you learn their names and faces while also not spoiling too much of their music, but it barely scratches the surface of who the members are and their roles within the group. If you really wanna get to know the members I highly recommend The Ultimate 2020 Dreamcatcher Guide by KraayJay kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHnWaZVjo9Bmeq8 It's a very detailed guide that does a really good job at showing each of the members personalities. It's very long though (41mins) and it includes a lot of little spoilers for their music, so if you wanna save it and then watch it after you listen to their discography that's perfectly fine, whatever works for you. ^-^

Alot of people are already suggesting the Ultimate 2020 Guide by KraayJay, and that's because it is a VERY good guide, but it has ALOT of video and song spoilers. So, I might suggest watching it after you've gone through all the videos you want to watch first because it does represent the members very well and that way you won't get spoiled. ^_^

Dodging Disbandment and Other Extreme Sports: A History of Dreamcatcher by mera is a really good guide! it’s more about the group as a whole than spending time on each member.

YES! Dodging Disbandment is one of my favorite fanmade DC videos, I've watched it at least 5 times myself and will never stop recommending it to people who are new to the group

yeah... you got spoilers lol a lot of the videos i suggested were a little bit spoiled here lol but that's okay. The song you didnt know at the end (one of the covers) it's Regret of the Times by Seo Taiji and the Boys (a kpop band/group/something from the 90s) but the song is very nice, it's one of my fav covers but it's highly underrated that's why i didnt suggest it before, but you should check it out too if you want. The guide was kinda too short, but i guess that's the point, there are other guides better but all of them contains lots of spoilers, so i guess watching only this one is okay. some stuff about the members and a summary about their personalities (a complement for the guide kinda): Jiu is actually considered to be lead vocal and lead dancer, it's not her official role, but she is part of the dance line and the vocal line, and her skills on both areas are usually very praised by singers and dancers who react to them. She is the sunshine of the group, very smiley, cheesy, the type of person that would do a dad joke and find it very funny. She loves and promotes dreamcatcher to everyone, she treats the members as her kids and takes care of them well. She loves eating and exercising, and she also loves pink. Each member has a representative animal, and Jiu's is a rabbit. Jiu, just like some other members, is trying to get into writting/composing. She took part in the lyrics of two of their songs: Jazz Bar (along with Siyeon and Yoohyeon), and Black or White (along with Siyeon, Yoohyeon and Dami). Sua is the main dancer, but dont get fooled, the girl can sing very well. She is probably the best singer in the group apart from the main/lead vocals (Jiu included). Sua is indeed very loud and touchy with the other members. She is also very aggressive and confident. She is seen by the fans and some of the members as the mother of the group, always nagging at them and taking care of them. Sua's favorite animal is the elephant, so for some time her representative animal was the elephant, but she said she didnt want to be one, even if it's her favorite animal, she would prefer to be a little bird, so that's what she is now lol. Sua is literally good at everything, dancing, singing, rapping, drawing, acting, sewing, cooking, you name it. The only thing she CANT do is being tall lol She enjoys creating choreographies. The choreo for their Havana cover and the Taki Taki cover, and her solo cover for Copycat, and also the choreo for Dreamcatcher's bside Red Sun were all made by her. Siyeon is the main vocalist of the group, and she is really high level at this. She is a fairly good dancer and she raps on her free time lol Nothing serious tho, Siyeon's rapping is more like a fun thing to watch. She is quite weird, the queen of extra, she even has alien aegyo. Siyeon is known for being one of the fiercest member on stage, people say she has a murderous aurea while performing, but off stage she is a babie. Her representative animal is a wolf, cause the members and the fans say she resembles one. Siyeon is the member who likes rock the most, she also loves pants (yes, pants) and Captain America (yes, she is a marvel girl). Siyeon is into writting and Composing, she took part in the writtings of What (along with Dami and the producers of the song, Leez and Ollounder), Jazz Bar, Black or White and she also helped to write and compose her solo song Paradise with the help of the producers Leez and Ollounder. Handong is the chinese member. She is probably the quietest member, but her sense of humor is also high level. I'd say she has a classy way of being funny, she can be very savage sometimes with the members, with an acid type of humor. Handong originally came to Korea to become a Musical singer, but her vocal teacher suggested her to audition to be in a kpop group and she took the suggestion as she liked kpop quite a lot. Handong had a couple of opera lessions before joining Happyface and debuting in Dreamcatcher, her vocals are no joke and she should have more lines. Handong's representative animal is a cat, cause she loves cats. During Scream promotions Handong was in China, participating in a survival reality show called Youth with You. She was eliminated some weeks before the end of the show and now she is still in China waiting until she is allowed to go back to Korea (that's because she is from Wuhan, and Korea still isnt allowing people from Wuhan to enter the country because of the corona virus). Yoohyeon is the official lead vocal of the group, and farily good dancer too. Some years ago one of her nicknames was Tree, because she was very tall and stiff, but her stiffness faded away with time lol Yoohyeon is clumsy, usually the one that will be teased a lot by the members, she is kinda silly and sometimes we think she has one braincell, but the girl is very smart. Yoohyeon is very good in english and other foreign languages, she studies chinese and tried studying german and japanese for a while. It doesnt matter the language, she can grasp the ponunciation quite quickly. Yoohyeon is also a gamer girl and she said she would be a KZbinr if she wasnt an idol, cause she likes filming and editing (she even edited a couple of her own vlogs and her special clip for Perfect cover). Her representative animal is a dog. Yoohyeon also took part in the writting of Jazz Bar and Black or White. Dami is considered to be a lead dancer in the group, it's not official, but she gets praised a lot in this area so yeah. Despite being a rapper and having a really low voice, Dami can sing fairly well. She had covered Someone Like You (by Adele) in a fanmeeting, it wasnt perfect, but she did a very good job. She is usually seen as the most normal member, the judgemental member even, but sometimes when she is around the others, she can be just as silly and chaotic as everyone else. Dami is the gentlewomen type, she takes care of the members and the fans quite a lot. She loves animals and wanted to raise a bear when she was a kid. Her representative animal is a panda. She likes animes and mangas (especially One Piece). Dami is probably the member who is into writting/composing the most. She wrote all the lyrics for Scar, and released a Special Clip for a rap track she composed and wrote herself called Once Upon a Time. She also wrote the rap for a couple of songs like Black or White and What. Dami even has her own studio to work on composing and writting. Gahyeon is considered to be a rising rapper in the group, maybe a lead rapper or a subrapper. It isnt her official role, but since she got some rap lines in a couple of songs (Piri and Scream), and Dami also mentioned Gahyeon is the member who is becoming a good rapper within the group. Gahyeon is your typical cute maknae girl. She is very spoiled by the members but sometimes she gets teased a lot for being the baby, but she gets back at them calling them old lol Gahyeon is very responsable despite being the youngest and is considered to be a smart maknae, the one who knows young people slangs and what's trending right now. Her representative animal is a fox. Gahyeon had expressed before her wish of getting into writting/composing but she has never released anything nor helped with any song until now, but we hope we'll see something from her soon. My fave boy group is Seventeen & my fave girl group is Dreamcatcher and I really appreciate how both groups give back so much to their fans (constant update on social media even on breaks, vlives, covers, vlogs, etc). Stanning them for 3 years now, I can definitely say they're 2 of the most humble & genuine idols out there. If you like, I recommend reacting to dreamcatcher's dance practices, they're really satisfying to watch :) Thanks for checking them out

so DC has made a name for themselves as one of those groups who like blessing their fans with non comeback outside promotions content like covers,solo songs and even choreography to other songs(sua usually does choreo for the extra vids) and even vlogs that are strangely enuf some times they them selves edit(yoohyon does a lot of desktop related stuff not just gaming) they are close to being a self producing group(if only the concepts match) imo try the trio from their album sahara,black or white,red sun(choreo by sua) every thing about the group is extra members,concept,music,MVs and even their albums(literally like most free stuff ive seen from a veteran group physical copy) OW ALSO PLS DO "Dodging Disbandment and Other Extreme Sports: A History of Dreamcatcher" its a strait info dump kinda like loona avengers of kpop

i am glad you reacted to this guide to Dreamcatcher rather than the 2020 one, cus boy does that one has lots of spoilers! especially for reactors that haven't heard all of their songs yet. They have plenty of songs, and covers and dance covers out there. And each of the girls have at least a solo cover besides Dami, she wrote her own rap. But yeah, why stay with just the A sides, when you can react to the B sides too. The album "Dystopia" is their latest album out and its a full album. (the album with "scream") that whole album is fire. So yeah you got plenty of catching up to do lol. Can't wait to see your next installment of Dreamcatcher reactions!

They also would love to do a lot of collaborations with a lot of Artists, both in & out of the K-Pop Sub-industry. For example, they've stated that they would love to do a collaboration with the Japanese group "Baby Metal". Other videos involving DC that you should watch &/or react to, besides those listed above/below & their Covers, would be Sera Ryu's interview with DC because even though Sera is their Unnie, both in age & in tenure, she loses it several times meeting & talking with them.
