Did you notice she's actually looking down and reading the lyrics while she's singing? Still don't understand how she can do that while performing to perfection.

I did! I noticed that sometimes she has the sheet music in the studio, but she is definitely a pro!

Wasn’t that mind-glowingly beautiful? The deep voice and vibrato. Watch her mouth. All the subtle movements and turns. No mike hiding her face. She was inspired and in the zone.

Angelina recorded this only a few days after one of her musical idols, Aretha Franklin, died. When other people were belting out this song, she performed this tribute in a very respectful and reverential manner in memory of Aretha. This is why she simply fades to 10 seconds of black and doesn't do her signature "Goodbye".
@ladyluckclubllc3 жыл бұрын
Good observation...I didn't notice the fade to black. I will re-watch the ending of her video. Thank you!

You could feel her sorrow through this song where sang her last goodbye to her Heroine that had passed few days earlier This was her beautiful and heartfelt tribute to Aretha and She pored her feelings sorrow and Love into it and ended it with 10 seconds black screen/silence... Thanks 🙏for lovely reactions and Support to Our Singing Angel 🎶👼🏻👣👸🏻🌟 ~ OneLove 🕊

She pays such respect to Aretha in this tribute song. Being a true jazz singer, Angelina just permeates the human souls so deeply. Add in her touches of pure soul and you have a masterpiece that is pure Angelina. I can detect bits of her idol Billie Holiday in this as well. Jumping 'key' in mid-sentence is something she learned from Amy Winehouse.

Great break-down, LL ! Amazing to take a song like that and do what she did. Most artists will feel too bound and restricted to do something like this. And most of them couldn't, even if they wanted to. What she did here is actually vocally very demanding, even though it doesn't come across that way. Angelina was 12 years here. (12 years, 8 months). Incredible. What a tribute, right ? Love from Norway :-)

Yes it is! I said once before that Etta James, Billie Holiday and Lena Horne live rent free in Angelina's vocal chords! 😂🤣

Hi LL & thanks for that great reaction & your input. Angie was 12.5 yo here. She did this right after AF passed away. (Sweetie, if you really want to enjoy Angie even more & not miss all her musical nuances, you should get some headphones or earbuds & you'll really hear the difference) “Someone like you” by Adele kzbin.info/www/bejne/pIachXRtZcuLqNE Angie's 13 here “Ain’t no sunshine” by Bill Withers kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5nSkmyLmZyMatU Angie’s 12 ish “I’m still holding out for you” by Baby Fuzz kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqebnp15nZqcn6c she’s 10 almost 11 (it was used as a demo. Her mom didn't like a line in it, so it was never released as a single) This song was written by Brandon Lowry better known as Sterling Fox & aka Baby Fuzz & co-writers Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen (PS) I bet when you put on the earbuds or headphone, you'll go back & listen to all the Angie songs you already heard & will be even more blown away)😄

Thanks for the suggestions! I actually tried headphones, but the music video was diminished. I'm currently using my phone for my recordings, only a month into the KZbin reactions, so I'm not sure if an external microphone would help but I couldn't hear the video in my test run. I tried... and it sucks because I do want to hear the sound more amplified!😥😥 It may be the app I use for the screen recording. I plan on trying a different app this weekend. 👍🤩

@@ladyluckclubllc I know that can happen, but you might try a better pair or get earbuds & you'll have to make adjustments to your recording levels etc etc...

What Angelina did was stripped this song down to the essence of the words written by Carol King, then she followed the pure performance delivered by Aretha herself at the Kennedy Center awards show when Carol King received her award. This was phenomenal, especially since she just sat down in her room with a background track and a microphone and recorded a tribute to one of her idols. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6uVlpmpnc2op5Y

This girl is so overrated, and she's one of my 6 favorite singers! But come on, she goes to the lower range because her high notes have a lot to be desired. The reaction was, as usual, with these type videos, overlydramatic, just like her fans!!! Some comments are absolutely bazaar and insane!! But my question is this, do you think one could be the best without the ability to belt out, good, not screechy, too??? AJ fans go so far to say she's better than Whitney Houston! Seriously!
@ladyluckclubllc2 жыл бұрын
I don't know who you are, but I never said she sings better than Whitney Houston. ANGELINA JORDAN probably does NOT think she sings better than Whitney Houston. She has paid tribute to Whitney Houston, but I haven't heard her cover Whitney. If you don't like ANGELINA JORDAN, then don't listen to her. HER vocals are incomparable to anyone, in my opinion, and since you don't pay any of my bills, I will stand by my opinion. She has a soulful sound and her range goes beyond her lower register. If you're not a singer, and I will just assume that you aren't a singer because I want to... you would not have any earthly idea how difficult lower registers can be to tackle in any song... but she is doing it at 16 years old. So you can hate whomever you want, but it will NOT STOP her fans from loving and appreciating her talent either. I will end this comment by stating that she's better than you... because I want to. Bye!👍🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍

@@ladyluckclubllc wow, you are really rude. I didn't say YOU said she was better, I just made the comment because I was talking about belting out. You seem really defensive. And btw, I was a professional singer and dancer when I was young and got free lessons because my teachers thought I was so uncanny. So before you throw your hissy fit, you aren't talking to someone who doesn't know anything. Get over yourself.
@ladyluckclubllc2 жыл бұрын
@@challloyd215 She's a child. And if you think that was rude, then you haven't seen any of my videos. I was literally laughing the entire time. You can't control how her fans feel about her. If you don't like her, then don't listen to her. I respect all thoughts, but the exclamation points in your comment literally implies that you are yelling and being defensive. And this is my channel...I don't have to get over anything.
@ladyluckclubllc2 жыл бұрын
@@challloyd215 And I'm sure she is still better than you. She has more character than a grown adult that was a professional anything in life... more character and humility than a grown adult leaving comments like a tantrum. Do you know how many times fans of ANY artist would claim that they are better than another artist? DIE hard fans of Beyonce claim that she is better than Whitney Houston. So you better brace yourself for all of those defensive comments that is sure to come if you dare say that on any of Beyoncé videos! Good luck to that!
@challloyd2152 жыл бұрын
@@ladyluckclubllc First I don't hate her. If you read my comment better, you'd know I have about 6 singers who I like, AJ being one of them. You made quite a few assumptions and it is your channel, but you don't have to be rude. I actually asked if you think one can be considered the best if they can't belt out. I like AJ's tone and her resonance is lovely. AJ does do a video, someone, of course, created, of her and Whitney doing I Have Nothing, you might enjoy it. But your opinion is no longer sought out. So, enjoy!
