Another one of my all time Angelina favorites. This tribute was made just days after Aretha passed, and the respect she showed with this peaceful delivery just amazes me every single time I hear it. It's also not apparent right away (I didn't catch it until many views), but at the end of this video, she fades out and leaves a moment of silence for Aretha. How can a 12 year old have that much respect and that much wisdom... it just seems impossible.

You know sweetie, from one woman to another, crying is not anything to be sorry about. It shows our level of empathy. Angelina touches us because she has a rare gift of a level of empathy, which makes her express emotions in any cover song, which she hasn't personally experienced. She has done that since the very tender age of 7 or earlier. I have no doubt your grandmother sent you a hug through this song. And you get one from me as well.

Don't ever apologize for shedding tears... God gave us tear ducts to use and we don't need an excuse to use them. They're available to us 24/7 and we can use them at the drop of a hat.
