Reaction to Angelina Mango's final performance of "La noia" - will she conquer Europe?

I think choosing Angelina is good for Italy, because it’s a way to bring something new to eurovision. After ballads, rock, urban, now it was time for something new. And this is a song that combines tradition with modernity. A fusion of references (Spanish, Italian, Caribbean, Balkan, Middle Eastern sounds) revisited in a modern key. I think it can create a new trend in Europe and be appreciated even by non-Mediterranean countries.

@@JanBors all the other entries are boring or low level, or nice but...nothing new. Some food voices as norway but autotune and repetitive. Ukraine ok but it's nothing new. Ireland nice try but it's too much messy sometimes, a lot of people won't understand It. Finland ok, fun, but...not a winner Alla the remaining songs are...average songs or bad ones.

In July 2019 I went ti Lisbon and Tel Aviv and Mahmood (Soldi) was EVERYWHERE, radio, supermarkets, markets, streets, cafès etc and people were singing along in super cute broken italian. So... Maybe She could do that magic too again!

@@JanBorsI actually listen to Maneskin being played and covered by live artists even here in Thailand. Traditionally Italian music market is a bit closed but it's changing. I don't think it's only about the language barrier, Spanish music has success worldwide, I think it's more about promotion and investment. Let's see, this song has a chance to be a banger in a stage like ESC. Wish her luck

Angelina's song is made it by Dardust (a great composer that he has worked many times with Mahmood among others) He is the meaning of quality, and Madame wrote the lyrics. Little by little she is making a big name in the music industry. Also, Angelina has a great voice (she is the daughter of singers, so, like father like son) I wish a good place in the top (maybe in the top 10) because, above all is Italy, and Italy is always quality.

His father was one of the 5 best male voices and pop artist in general we had in the last 30 years in Italy. Her mother too was in Matia Bazar a group that made some serious bangers. I agreee. Santi Francesi were grossly underrated. That stunningly gorgeous man would be ALL OVER europe if he sang in ENglish for example. I reallly enjoyed "L'amore in Bocca" and Spettacolare from Mannini far more thatn I expectewd to.

@@JanBors I’m watching a lot of reactions since I find them funny (somehow this song from Italy was unexpected.. kind of “too modern” for us) but everyone seems to adore this “Italian flavour”(is not). I wouldn’t imagine this song was so appealing outside Italy (I personally preferred Mahamood). I’m literally learning by watching the effect this song has at first listening:)

I know Jan doesn't always like dancers, but I feel that this song deserves dancers with interesting fashion bringing the Cumbia rhythm to life. It would be disappointing to see her just standing with a microphone as Italy often likes to do. But for sure she should not be dancing, she needs to focus on vocals and facial expressions.
