Amazing to see someone react to Aviators. He's a really underrated musician and singer. Great to see some recognition. Yes his music style is not like any ordinary radio song or pop song or rock song. It's different and I love it, love your reaction and in depth analasys of the meaning of the lyrics. You called him a wordsmith. As a non-native english speaker I don't understand a few difficult words but the way he uses them I can get a sense of what they could mean, just by the context and the vibe of the song. Really cool reaction video thank you :)

A lot of his Dark Souls-inspired songs are amazing. "Angel of the Dark" is a personal favorite, showing the darker/lower tones of his writing as well as his singing. "Let There be Fire" pushes his vocals very well, especially with Miracle of Sound. More Aviators would be much appreciated.

I first discovered Aviators during his MLP music phase. Followed him through Fnaf Music, and how he is making Elden Ring music. What a trip.

@@DedicatedTryhard Yes, he started as the Brony Artist (My Little Pony), joined FnaF, left both of them, when opinions about those fandoms started to hold his career back, and now he is doing Elden Ring DLC music.

Another great song by Aviators is "Incandescent." It's about a Covenant called the Warrior of Sunlight, whose main goal is help people beat the game.

Aviators is a personal favourite of mine, it’s awesome to see you like it as well! I’d really recommend ‘Summon the Choir’, but I’m biased cause that’s my favourite lmao

Yes, indeed it captures the very essence of playing these games, yet at the same time, especially in Aviators’ soulsborne songs, he puts a ton of smaller and bigger references to the game itself. Really glad you decided to check out at least one of his works and hope to see more in the future.

The instruments convey how desperate the situation is, and his vocals convey that hopelessness.

I hope you review “Masks”, “A Thousand Eyes,” “Sweet Dreams”, and “Let There Be Fire,” as well as “Catalyst” and “Let Our Bodies Wash Ashore” and “Here Come the Ravens,” If you want to save one for Halloween, “All Hallows” is a great one for then. I hope you keep checking his library out. Almost every song going back almost a decade is amazing. I can’t wait to hear more!

Song of the Abyss is my personal favorite, not just because I like Artorias but his story follows that of many other warriors in Fiction and the Song really paints a picture about a warrior who had to save their friend with their own self, only for another hero to put them out of their misery.

Japan had that time when it closed its borders and preserved the samurai era for a couple centuries, but then got a nasty shock when western steam ships arrived, resulting in some very painful transformation to catch up with everyone. That's why a lot of Fromsoftware games revolve around the themes of tainted immortality - trying to preserve the old, only to see it deteriorate more and more. The most prominent of those is Dark Souls - we walk the world full of ruins of ages past, fightning people who become undead because they're not allowed to rest. Do we make another sacrifice to light the fire once more and keep preserving the 'age of light', or do we let it finally die, and give a chance for something new to emerge from the darkness that follows?

I'm a big Souls games fan and my interpretation of the story is there's no happy ending. The world has ended, relinking the fire is supposed to preserve hope, but it just delays the inevitable, and so it's actually best just to let the world succumb to darkness. Because humanity has died and so have the gods, and only demons and undead remain, so why not let it all fall to darkness? The Souls games always have this very grim dark fantasy thing going on

I love watching reactions that people have to songs that we as fans enjoy to hear I'd also recommend the dark souls raps from jt music as well as the elden ring rap all are excellent imo also VattiVidya is imo the dark souls guy if you're interested in the lore of dark souls/demon souls/ bloodborne and soon to be elden ring as well souls in dark souls serve the exact same purpose as runes in elden ring (editing this to much lol) hollow heartist also does good songs and don't remember who sings it but there's a dark souls song called incandescent that is all about a single dark souls character

I'm sure they have another version of this song where the last (or penultimate) chorus is sung instead of "souls of gods and souls of men" - "age of dark as age of man" - which is quite interesting as .according to the lore of the game, the ending of darkness is a world without gods, where people rule. And in my opinion, it sounds more epic.
