I randomly stumbled upon this audition shortly after it happened (it was probably trending on KZbin), and was astonished and kinda obsessed. I've never seen a talent show contestant who was so obviously going to win (and surprise, she did win). I've followed what she's been up to ever since. There are quite a few videos of her on AGT as they kept bringing her back as a guest. She's almost 20 now, so she's definitely not the young girl from this video any more...

Darci is self-taught, and at the time of this performance had only been practicing ventriloquism for 2 years. She was already a good singer, but found that she could actually sing without moving her lips and won her first competition in her home town after only 30 days of practice. That video is online somewhere. Her favorite performance on AGT was when she embarrassed Simon Cowell. Afterwards, Simon said that he'd never been more embarrassed.
