I LOVE how they used bits of Dangerous Gaze (the Sasuke vs Hiei track) in Hollow Dreams, the track for Madara vs Aizen I think this is the first time a battle track has made reference to a previous one used on the show.

26:01 They admitted on the Cast before this episode the finale was not what we were expecting and it's obvious a lot were expecting Galactus/Unicron. They said there are reasons and I believe it came down to cost and animation as a lot would be needed to animate such a fight. Regardless, that episode is confirmed to happen eventually anyway and this season finale is too exciting to pass up.

All that is going to do is give people unreasonable expectations that will not be met when the fight is finally made. On a side note, this battle should have been the season finale and should note have been a sprite battle

Saitama isn't a gag character though. He has some crazy shit but its still within the rules of his realm. Popeye is pure dont give a shit gag. Its not even a fair fight plus the fact for saitama we have no fucking idea of his true power or even half of his strength looks like. The biggest enemies he fought weren't even challenges to him. I bet they'll use that hullshit blue ray guide to say Boros clobbered him even though its clearly shown and state by Boros it was not even a fight.

Fun Fact: This episode makes it so that Bleach is now tied with Soul Caliber for the worst Death Battle track record of 0 wins, 2 losses. By the way currently Godzilla, Kingdom Hearts, Kirby, and Metal Gear are tied for the best track record of 2 wins, 0 losses (Metroid as well if you count the remaster as a separate fight). Also in regards to the next time… I know that people have a problem with unfair fights but personally I never have. The way I see it is the vast majority of fights turn out to be unfair when you take a close look at them anyway, so I’d much rather have a fight be thematically appropriate. That being said I am pretty familiar with what both characters are capable of, and I exaggerate nothing when I say that I believe this to be the most one sided fight in Death Battle history. Yes I am saying that this fight is even more unfair than THAT one. R.I.P. Saitama

Idk how Aizen died when the Hogyoku makes him immortal. They sentenced him too 20,000 years because he could not be killed

His body is still made of Spirit particles and the Truth Seeking Orbs that Madara uses can destroy anything..even parts of a soul. When the resurrected Kage were released to go to the Pure World after the war was over Minato's soul was STILL missing the parts of his body that had been hit by the orbs. They erased Aizen's spirit since that's all he's made of, so destroying every part of him with them prevented the ability to heal. And remember that shinobi brought back by Edo Tensei had the same kind of 'immortality' due to being able to bring dust and ash back together to reform the body so long as they don't decide to move on, or the Jutsu is not broken. Minato never gained those arms back after they were destroyed in a physical body and his soul didn't have them when it was released either.

While Bleach does, and Aizens are so strong they make him virtually unkillable, and immortal.. Also by their own logic Madara shouldn’t have been able to heal The whole fight, as Zanpakuto are weapons that directly attack the soul, and the same goes for Hado abilities.. Their favoritism is all over this Death Battle..

They didn't scale aizen properly at all comparing him to soul society Ichigo at first bankai saying he's lightning level that's a subtle disinformative tactic aizen and Ichigo are fukin hugely faster than Madara let alone stronger and hacks wise aizen just thoroughly takes the win he at a whim can take control of all 5 senses and even given Madara can release, he'd have to realize first and with how ruthless aizen is he would not let that opportunity slide regardless of any foe he is death incarnate

@@Morten_Storvik thats just not true, proper scaling to yhwach would mean no matter what madara wouldve been in kyoka, it's not something you can break out of, otherwise someone like kisuke wouldve found a way around it, they also just didnt scale his attack potency and speed properly

I warned you they'd alter the stats. Hell, if Mortal Kombat's feats can go from 270 tons of TNT to Planet level in one season, that Bleach buff they gave was minor in comparison. Still, grats on the predictions, and it looks like the next episode will be the tie breaker. Speaking of which, setting the MU itself aside, what kind of gets me is that they didn't explicitly call it the season finale like they did the last few seasons. A small hiccup, or does it mean something? Either way, I'm curious how it will go down.
