dopp he is not from the country where the English is the second language. He never lived anywhere except Kazakhstan. He traveled a lot to China and now he speaks Chinese ! I moved to America from Kazakhstan 5 years ago and my English is great even though I didn’t speak it before I believe Dimash would do even better and faster

Hi Dan.....I have seen Vitas do this song and to me it was just an act for him to sing the high notes....no feeling in the song at all. Whereas Dimash gives the song character and tells a story. I love what Dimash did with this song but this is what Dimash does. Oh, as far as wanting to see another side of Dimash...go to Screaming Idol Hits....you will see another side of Dimash. I agree with Jordanka-"How pity that we will never hear this song again in the performance of Dimash, since Vithas forbids him". MOST artists would be happy that someone sang their song so well....I mean you can always find "covers" of songs that are not good- to have someone make your song SHINE like Dimash did with this song.....Vithas let his pride block him from seeing that this song coming out again would have been for his good too. (I had never even heard of Vithas until DIMASH sang this song) My point is made. Bravo! And Dan even if you never get to Dimash's level- LEARN from him- watch his techniques. Growing from this artist- don't get discouraged. He has been working on his "instrument" since he was five....hard work pays off huh?

Yes well said. Same only heard of Vitas through Dimash and Vitas let his pride and EGO block him. When you watch Vitas you get the feeling (even more so with his response to Dimash's rendition) that his persona on stage and IRL are somewhat similar.....but for Dimash the opposite is true.
