Dongie just revealed herself from behind the mask and I'm sitting here grinning like an idiot. I only discovered Dreamcatcher while she was in China, but even then I missed her so much. Don't think I realised how much until Odd Eye's release. Man I am so OT7-biased it's ridiculous. EDIT: I've reached the post-video commentary and now I'm sitting here teary-eyed. I originally commented this on the video itself but i thought i should share it here as well I think the video tells more of a story than it lets on, first off, Odd Eye is the ending to the Dystopia era, whereby the edits to Scream and Boca outfits reflect on what Dreamcatcher has made for this era as well as looking back on the achievements they have accomplished in 2020, by incorporating previous choreography bits into the Odd Eye choreography, and with Handong removing her mask at the end, i think not only does it symbolize the end of the era with her return, but also a reflection of the lyrics in Odd Eye for the Dreamcatcher members themselves, they searched for Utopia, a Music Show first win, but realized that in the end Utopia is what they see in themselves, which is Handong returning to her members

Not to be dramatic but... you’re like my favorite Insomnia on KZbin. Your reactions are always so chill, comfortable and comforting, yet it’s obvious you care about the girls so much. Dreamcatcher is such a special group and I’m so happy they have special people as their fans like you and many others. As someone who was lucky enough to see them debut and grow over the years, it’s easy to tell your attachment to them is genuine and I’m so glad you’re a part of our happy family. Thank you for always making such heartwarming and entertaining content and for supporting Dreamcatcher in such a beautiful way. (Also, I remember in a video a few months ago you said you wanted to make a DC guide someday since you weren’t totally satisfied with the ones that exist right now and...please, please do it!!! There’s so much to say about them and to show to baby insomnias and so much of it is left out of guides. It doesn’t matter if the guide is 1, 2 or 3 hours long. I just hope one day we get a Dreamcatcher guide that explore all sides of their discography and history, as well as the girl’s talents and personalities, not just a few singing clips and 2 minutes of funny crazy moments for each members. ) Keep being amazing!

Its never enough every single time is just better than before. This version is everything literally Scream, Boca and Odd Eye. Hair styles, dance movements, outfits, the Boca flags bruuh😍, they even "unmask" the 7th dancer as Handong bc she couldnt promo with the rest. The camera work, those transitions and that slow motion part i mean this is one of the best dance version and my favourite Idk what else to say they are perfect, breathtaking and talented. Dreamcatcher has grow on me so much since the first time I watched them and I'm so happy to say they really are my favourite kpop group of all time.

The way they add all these small changes is, in its own way, a reflection of their relationship with Insomnias. Each video (i also have watched this a billion times) hits different because the small changes and attention to detail - and their trust that we will notice them - shows their thoughtfulness and craft and mastery. I can't think of a group where having one member remove a black mask could mean the world the way this does (or where we can see an outfit switch and immediately wonder whether Jiu will show her back). On a separate note, my days now basically consist of waiting for Insomnicsy to post something on twitter and then hitting refresh on your channel. Do I need more to do in my life? Sure. But thank you for your dedication and constant hard work! ^_^

At first I was "It's not like DC to simply give us a wardrobe change version of a song..." And then the outfit changes started coming. Dongie at the end was just the perfect coda. I actually wish it hadn't been the thumbnail. Also, pretty much everybody put in a little touch in here and there. I swear, SuA's kick seems to go up an inch or two every time she does it. When Dami gets flirty, it hits extra hard. And, for the record, I actually like Siyeon DeVille.

I wasn't expecting this either. They took us through their saga timeline. It was so beautifully done and as always it wasn't long enough.. It was refreshing seeing them in their previous outfits and they still looked amazing!! I cried while I watched the video and thought about stopping but Dreamcatcher is worth a few embarrassing tears. 😂 Seeing Handong folded into the Dystopia era in this way was so gratifying. I've seen the OT7 Scream and Boca performances but tbh her absence is still felt in the smaller moments in the BTS videos and on the 2020 b-sides like Black or White, Sahara, and Red Sun.

This video is so on point on so many level that I don't know where to start. Setting, outfits, editing, choreo (do I even have to say it?) and all the little stuff to highlight the iconic stuff (did anybody say DAMN HIGH KICK SLOWMO?!?). Also props to everybody working with these girls... The quality is excellent and improving, even for someone that discovered them only 3 months ago.
