Rob Halford truly is THE metal god. Priest were and are one of the most versatile bands, ever changing ever different and always unmistakably them. They all have shown so many different sides to them in a career that spans over 5 decades. This album came out in 1976 and it continues to impress people in 2020. Rob Halford not only has an incredible range, he also could move through all of it seemingly effortlessly. He also constantly changed the way he sand songs, modified his vibrato, and so on. There's always a new facet to explore, both with Rob and this band.

The old man sitting there, his head bowed down Every now and then, he'll take a look around And his eyes reflect the memory-pain of years gone by (He can't regain nostalgic dreams he'll never see again) With trembling hand he wipes a tear Many fall like rain, there's one for every year............. ............ Same album. Great song. "Epitaph" Do you ever ponder the really old guy sitting in the park as you walk by? "He's our tomorrow, just as much as we are his yesterday" I'm going to make it a point to talk to as many old people as I can. There's too much wisdom being lost between generations.

Hi Yuliya, I went back in time since there wasn’t a video today! This is practically the beginning of your reign atop of KZbin as Queen! There is a very innocent quality about you here, I can’t quite put a finger on it but it is apparent! If ever there’s one thread that runs true even on this day...........your love for great vocals, melodies, lyrics & monumental guitar solos remains so vital! I see so much growth from you as a content creator, as an online personality, as a musician but more importantly, as the amazing person you truly are. 🪐🪐🪐 It’s beautiful how music can align & unite complete strangers regardless of race, gender or creed............all in the name of the purest of expression! Music!! Boy, I’m glad I stumbled upon your channel & took a calculated risk! Thank you for giving me a chance & the clarity I’d been seeking for so long! Forever in your debt! Boom! 💥💥💥

We followed the Dreamer through the Purple Hazy Cloud. He could control our sense of time. Reference to Purple Microdot, a form of Acid. I took some in 1979 after leaving 9th grade summer of 79 I went with a friend to Okaloosa Island Fort Walton Beach Florida. We stopped by Robinson's Cruise Through where you could drive through the store and get what you needed without getting out of your car. We were walking because we weren't old enough to drive me yet. We got 2 gallons of beer. Back then they weren't as strict with IDing minors. Went to the Island to a friend's keg party. Nothing was popping there so we headed to the Gulf Of Mexico side and took our Purple Microdot. This was about 6 pm Friday Summer Night at Wayside Park. Wayside was featured in Hight Times Magazine for being the top place in the USA to get any drug you wanted any time. As I stated this was early I the evening and at 11 pm the Sheriff's Department comes and chases everyone out. We were have a grand time drinking hanging out with our friends and I was thinking the Microdot was a waste of time and money. Then all of a sudden here comes the Deputies to lock the park up. Where did the time go? We had lost, all "sense of time" as the song goes. We went over to Okaloosa Island Peir to continue the partying there because it open 24/7. We finally started home crossing Brook's Bridge to the mainland. We were beginning to trip majorly. We saw a guy get "struck" by a car because he was laying in the middle of the road under the bridge. As we crested the bridge I saw a long white Cadillac at the bottom of the bridge at The Waffle House. It looked like a limo. I knew my friend's mom drove a white Cadillac. I said, "That's your mom!" He said, "No way that's my mom. It's 4 in the morning". We knew it was 4 because there was a Clock Tower at First National Bank which you can see even on the Island. As we got closer we saw it was his mom. He told me not to laugh when we got into the car. Well I lasted about maybe 5 minutes without laughing. I just couldn't hold it in any longer and burst out laughing. If he had not said don't laugh I most likely would not have laughed. He didn't want her to think we were on something. His father was the Assistant Chief of Police and his mother worked in a Psychiatric office. She had already suspected we were on something. They were cool about.
@mettall19814 жыл бұрын
Oh yes. We hallucinated some crazy stuff that night. I saw David's face melt and he turned into the Devil. His hair looked like genes all colors and wormy. His father sprouted antlers.

Thanks for appreciating the amazing solo although it seems you've mainly tried this song to check out Halford's legendary vocals. However, I must say I'd appreciate a little less pauses and less continious talking. I don't mean you shouldn't say what's in your mind but you can gather your comments in marginally less but a little longer pauses. Also, bringing the song back a few seconds after the pauses would be nicer. In general, it was a good reaction, it seems you are musicly talented and have good ears. I suggest "Keeper Of The Seven Keys" by Helloween (13+ minutes full studio version) to you. It's both musicly great and has amazing vocals.

I'm so thankful that you chose a different Priest song to react to. The typical song is usually Painkiller which is a great song but not indicative to what the band sounds like. I also learned that I suck at identifying accents. I thought you were South American. Please forgive my mistake. You know, you did pretty good at hitting some of those notes. Maybe you should start your own Judas Priest tribute band. Anyway, hope you're well. Congrats on another entertaining reaction video. I can't wait for the next.
