Very nice reaction. My take on this is the woman in white is remembering their life together and at the end she couldn't go on without him and stepped into the light. At 9:06 and 10:50 are both added lyrics to the song. And these lyrics are key to the change of the song.

Great reaction! It’s my first time here but not my last. I was watching Ronnie on Twitch the other day and he said another song was going to be dropped very soon. He gives an “experience “ with his music. He puts so much of his heart and soul in and you can feel every word. I think these songs have taken on another, more mature meaning for him. My take between the original and this one: the original is the unapologetic, partying addict. In it he’s not thinking about what impact it has on others. To me, this revamp is a more mature look back at his addiction and how he didn’t think he was a monster but in reality he truly was but hid it from everyone including himself. Paige, I believe is a representation of how much he hurt those around him with his addiction and actions. In the video, it’s Paige’s discovery that he is a monster but in the song alone, I believe it’s bigger than that. When the Lynch mob comes, I think that’s his resignation, his giving up because he acknowledges how much he’s hurt those around him that he loved the most (again represented by Paige... he killed her with the discovery that he’s a monster and then he turned her into the very thing he despised about himself so he gave up. Anyway, that’s just my take on it

Some fun bits about the video: -Yes, that is Paige/Saraya, his girlfriend, from WWE -This was filmed in their house -Sean Rooney, who composed The Drug in Me is Reimagined also composed this one. -The shot at 12:20 (in this video, not the actual music video) whether intentional or not, reminds me of the intro to Popular Monster where he's just standing still in a room full of dead bodies. -The fangs he wore in The Drug in Me Reimagined were apparently a little easter egg/hint to this video. -When Paige finds his murder scene and Ronnie runs out of the house, he was wearing a jacket, when outside running, his jacket is gone. -The sound at 9:04 was supposed to be a lightbulb exploding, though everyone I've seen(including me) interprets it as a gunshot. (He said on stream) -This one is probably just me, but the monk that's dead center looks like his costume is from a cheap Halloween shop while all the others look like legit fabric, lol. (it has wrinkles, doesn't go to his ankles, rope is really white and shorter than the others, seam down the front, short sleeves) -At 10:23 (again, this video, not the music video) he doesn't have fangs

Well, considering he did a trilogy set with a set of songs Losing my mind, Life and Drugs, so if you consider the meaning of the The Drug In Me Reimagined in context - he became angry after the women he loved left, at the video's end with the fire. Maybe the love was his drug, and when that love went away, it became anger, which caused him to turn to drugs to relieve the pain (becoming a vampire). This song with it's focus on addiction and the destruction of his life, that the third one would be somehow a completion of this story. When he became a vampire, and eventually it killed the woman he loved by making her into a vampire (addict). This sad story replays in real life society so many times over. I love Ronnie's positivity in all the reaction to reactions, and I imagine somehow there will be a third part of this that will represent his "rebirth" or "resurrection". I think the transition from the dark minor key the song started out in to the major chords in the final moments of the song represent the cleansing of the addiction by killing the vampires and that will play into the final video I imagine it's going to drop before the April Liveshow as a teaser, that will probably end up in the same style. Could the final one be something that maybe shows him escaping the addiction? Maybe "Escaping the Fate" of the cycle of addiction? (had to make my own play on words but I wouldn't put it past him to throw that out there). I don't know his song catalog that well, but given the fact we've gotten 2 songs in a row that are remakes, we won't get a third - Ronnie is so much of an artist, he wants to keep us all guessing, so I think #3 will be a brand new song showing how he's cleansed the hate, anger and addiction from himself and that he's reborn a new person, and that song will be just as epic in the cinematography. It may be a metal song again - representing the return to who he was before the addiction.

Alright so it took me a few watches before I really got the video as well but this is how it goes.. so you are seeing her watch/re-live her memories of them together as she walks through an empty house(everything is covered in cloth) and in the memories people are going missing, and they get into an argument and she leaves him. (Time passes) she’s coming back because she still loves him and she hears the gunshot and rushes in only to find him drinking someone’s blood and she sees him as the vampire/monster he really was and he runs ashamed that she saw him like that. While he runs outside she slits her wrists, he comes back in to find the love of his life dying in the bath, he gives her his blood to save her and then he hides her upstairs and “gives himself” to the mob so she may live. At the end she is remembering how he died tied to the stake and stays out on the balcony to die the same way because she didn’t want to live without him.

I feel the begining part was him pulling her down with him. Her killing herself was her not able to live with what he had done. Him turning her was him not able to live without her (which is party why he lost control when she left to begin with). Then he gives himself up so she can live as a vampire. That's how I see it.
