I really love how he replays the same clip over and over as he has a few seizures from the incredibly low notes which also BLEW MY MIND SO MUCH!! The great thing about Geoff Castellucci is he can hit "the shiver note" so effortlessly it just leaves you stunned. To anyone who isn't familiar with Geoff Castellucci the shiver note is a sub harmonic note that's so low it physically sends shivers up your spine.

There was absolutely no chance that Geoff doing this song was going to be anything less than phenomenal. I still like the version by Peter Hollins and Tim Faust as well. It's a song that basically demands a low bass singer to do regardless of what other singers you have joining in.

Doing the standard bass singing parts of this are easy for a normal bass singer... then you have Geoff doing his insanity, lol. Even a skilled baritone can cover most of this -- Geoff is actually hanging out in the lower baritone register for the majority of this (other than his tenor harmony lines)... then he decides to drop into contrabass.

Geoff is a rare talent. His range is just sick. His G1 low notes are the bomb and he uses different techniques - chest, harmonic, growl etc. There are lots of great bass singers but Geoff is the king in my book.
