Feuerschwanz definitely came a long way. From a mostly overlooked Folk-Comedy band to one of the most well-known Folk/Medieval Metal/Rack bands. Even to the fact they rerelease some of their Tracks in English with the upcoming "Warriors" album.

Looking forward to that new album myself. Can't wait to explore some of their older work from that, plus the two new songs (especially the one featuring the Dominum collab -- I'm eagerly anticipating that one). And I agree...Feuerschwanz's evolution has been fun to get a read on. I've been exploring some of their older pieces pre-Methammer for myself, and I LOVE the comedic spirit to their work. Any era I've explored with them has been fun, but I really like their metal voice as it exists today. :-)

you know how much I love this band. Did you see they have new album "Warriors" coming out in April .. and it's all in English! They released the video for "Highlander" this week and it's great as always!

Of course; I consider myself quite fortunate to be taking these experiences alongside every one of you. And thanks for the heads-up; Warriors is on the list. Still have to cover, but I'm getting to it soon (and I'll definitely be loking at some of the other pieces on that collection; that Dominum collab REALLY has me interested).

If you like it harder, look "Schubsetanz " Black metal Version, from them. Another good german medieval metal Band is Saltatio Mortis, great Videos, look for songs like "My mother told me " "The dragonborn comes " or "Pray to the hunter ". They play frequently on the same Festivals.

You'll be happy to know that not only are both versions of Schubsetanz (standard and black metal) coming (along with a LOT more Feuerschwanz content), but I've worked Saltatio Mortis into my "Phase 2 considerations" list (as I'm calling it, and what I'm currently working through) as well, and I already have a good share of the tracks I'll be covering on hand. Some of the titles you included look new to me, so perhaps I have a few more to add in... :-)

You’ll be happy to hear that Gott Mit Uns is coming. It’s gonna be one of the later publications (with a LOT of Feuerschwanz content in preparation), but for sure…we will get to that one. 🙂
