Yes, I hope the early stuff gets redone. Yes, how is it possible that she's better? Tenderized---a good word. That's great, Nate. Listening to your heart. I admire your genuine expression. Angelina sings this so incredibly beautiful. She slips and slides from note to note, plays with rhythm and pauses and uses her voice in so many ways. Each time I hear it takes me away from time for a little while. Easy to put on repeat and enjoy it endlessly.

I think one of Angelina’s greatest talents is what you mentioned. She is able to combine her unique musicality, her astonishing vocal talents, and her interpretation of lyrics to make her listeners think she singing to each of us individually. Her connection to me is what you described-from the first notes, we’re hooked, we’re on for the full ride. Some of my favorites are her covers of Adele. When Adele sings her beautiful, melancholy lyrics, we feel the pain she’s expressing about her own life. When Angelina sings those lyrics, we transfer those words to our own life and our own situation. Every time I hear Angelina’s cover of A Million Years Ago, I think about the missed opportunities in my own life. With her cover of Someone Like You, the lyrics speak directly to unrequited relationships in my own life. Angelina is different from any other singer I’ve ever heard.

Hi, Nate! Thank you for another sensitive and very thoughtful reaction to Angelina. Yes, she has gone from being a wild haired, snaggle-toothed seven-year-old who set everybody back on their heels by choosing a very adult song by a legendary bluea singer for her audition on Norway's Got Talent, to an astonishingly beautiful 16-year-old young woman who has continued to surprise us by rearranging songs to release the emotion in the lyrics, for our enjoyed. I hope to live long enough to raise a glass in celebration of her coming of age in 2027. As we all know, she is the most transparently honest person we are ever likely to know of. There is absolutely no pretence in her - the many, many videos uploaded to KZbin, showing her making mistakes and "hamming it up" are some of my favourite moment with Angelina. I love her "perfect imperfections". I rate Reactors similarly. It is one of two categories, (a) "honest", those who tell it as they hear it, and (b) "dishonest" those who tell us what they think we need to hear. Often in the hope that by doing so, the number of their new subscribers will increase. From the day you uploaded your first reaction to Angelina on 9 Sep 2020 you have been in Category A. A beautiful sadness. The love in our hearts will always triumph over being downcast. Proof positive is when we listen to Angelina sing for us. Her presence in our hearts is awakened as soon as she begins to sing and we are invigorated with a great feeling of love streaming through our bodies abound with thoughts of joy and hope always there dancing along at the same time. We don't understand or take time to calculate what is happening with our brain, we simply let our hearts take over and overwhelm us with emotions which are hard to contain. There is something else going on in our relationship with her which is not a direct reflection of when we listen to her sing. Angelina is all about love and goodness and we are deeply influenced by her persona, it's undeniable. She has inspired us to be the best we can be as kind, caring and loving human beings. Proof? Sit down for a moment and think about who you are and who you have been for the past week, or month, or years, since you have discovered Angelina. Are you friendlier then you've ever been to others? Do you have compassion for those who are less fortunate and you want to help them in some way? Do you recognize when your anger starts to 'take over' you immediately calm down and consider what just happened? Am I suggesting that Angelina has something to do with those moments? I can't pick my favorite because each and every performance is a testimony to the fact that Angelina Jordan is not of this world, she is like nothing that has ever existed in the past or is likely to in the future. We are so lucky to be in this time and place in the midst of this phenomenal STORYTELLER, and she is only 16. She is a song writers dream come true, both for those written in the past and those to be written in the future.

After hearing her 9 yo & her 10 yo versions of this song years ago, I've been waiting for a more mature upgrade & man, did I get it. I've loved this song for 50 years & have heard all the versions by the legendary singers of the past. I'd forgotten about Michelle's version in that movie, but when this came out my wish came true. This is the most beautiful version of this jazz standard that I've ever heard & none of the other versions are even close, IMO. If she sings this again in 5 or 10 years, I don't think I can take it, especially if we can see her singing it. I have to close my eyes for this one, because the video is a bit distracting. I always get so happy when I see that you have made a new Angelina reaction, Nate. You are one of my all time favorite reactors, as I have told you before. It seems more and more to me as if her new album will be released next summer. We know that her family always has wanted her to finish school before they try to promote her in any way. As it happens, she will graduate this summer, as she was advanced 1 year. All her fans are very hopeful that it will coincide with the release of her debut album, and that it will mark the launch of her career. She will be 17,5 years old at the time, so age wise it should be perfect. I love your idea of buying several copies of her album and give it your friends. I stopped watching all the reactions to Angelina. There are just too many and they become the same after a while. I limit them to the ones from musicians and vocal coaches/teachers aso. But I'll make an exception for you, since you really dig into your (and other) minds in a truthful way! And find words we can relate to (or not, which is fine as we all become speechless with her sometimes). It's incredible how she absorbed the most beautiful voices of the last say 80 years, and still has her own versatile voice and way(s) of singing! And combined with her sweet and humble personality that shines thru her protected life, and her beauty it's pure pleasure to follow her career and development. It's more than wellness for the heart! :-)

My Funny Valentine This is my 147th time listening to this MASTERPIECE and each time I experience a new level of perfection by our ethereal prodigy extraordinaire, Angelina Jordan. When you listen to the A cappella portions of this performance at the very end of the song you are truly experiencing the genius of Angelina Jordan’s PERFECT PITCH. Sinatra, rest in peace Angelina Jordan, the Bare Foot Queen has taken the crown and there is nothing like her in the universe. When I first heard her perform this. I put it on pause and brought up Sinatra, Bublé, Streisand, Fitzgerald and Vaughan's version of this song to compare it to AJ version, and none of them moved me like this version. It is so hard to comprehend that Angelina from 7 to 16 is the greatest story telling being in my 75 years of experiencing great vocalist and I can't wait for the rest of the story. We are not only hearing it, but we are also feeling each word as though she were singing to each of us individually. She is the only one in this universe that is capable of making us feel the true emotion of this ballad. There is no way to explain this gift that has been given to the universe, does she even know, or understand the power she encompasses?

She really seems to have supernatural abilities. Name your religion, she being makes you want to follow her like a prophet or guru…. Not all hear the message and I find it sad and strange. Relatives don’t care to listen. Friends as well. When I occasionally hear reactors who dismiss her, it becomes clear that they are not sympathetic people, they are not empathetic and they don’t care for the children without shoes. Angelina taps into the emotions of people who care and amplifies those feelings. But it seems much of humanity doesn’t have anything to tap into. So I fear that her commercial career will really just be an attempt to reach out to that wider audience and many will not “like” her - her career could end now for me and her videography stands on its own.

Tiny Little Girl Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice will be 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Bench Mark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve.

This song was written by Rodgers and Hart in 1937 has been sung by a host of famous singers: Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald to name just a few... AJ does a marvelous renditions of another classic song!

Hi Nate. As I seen AJ grow into such as beautiful young woman. I'm reminded of how I felt when my daughter grew up. A lot of conflict of having to share my baby with the world. She is now 40 with a loving husband and kids. But boy did I worry through her High School and College years. We have watched AJ and loved her as a child, now we have to let go and watch her blossom as an adult human being, exloring all the adventures that her life will bring. We all hope for the best.

Not wanting Angelina's 'Persian Princess' looks come across as a sultry, sensual singer when connected to her mesmerizing vocals, mother Sara decided to have the vocals overdubbed so as to give separation from the vocals and visuals, with the viewing listener seeing a young, teenage girl meandering through an antique furnishings store while simply daydreaming, with no sexual connotations, which may have otherwise been the case.
