It's the type of humour that works quite well still though, but yes, quite a lot is lost without a proper translation.

Seems like it's auto translated. The text kind of fall into place as the dialogue is spoken, rather than on the beat, and expressions like "seså" became "see so" which is word for word. It's a good thing they are very theatrical and expressive. You kind of get the gist of what it's about.
